This is definently a great product for any Betta fish owner. I house a male Betta named Jake,(he is a half moon Betta that's blue and yellow) with 2
.99 plants, and a mini white cave. And yet he still has so much room to swim and play with. It can also house a mystery snail along with a betta.
I did have my doubts at first, but it turned out great.
All in all a great product and would recommend.

This tank is absolutely spectacular for betta fish. i really love the design and the light at the bottom. make sure you get see-through rocks though. my betta loves it too, because of the light, size, and design.

For the most part its a nice little tank for your desktop. its a bit of small, i wish they sold this in the size of 1.5+ gallon.
another thing i noticed, if i leave the bottom of the tank empty, no gravel, and then i turn on the light in the tank, and then shut off the light in my room, so the only source of light near the tank is the tank it self, i notice my betta fish keep on attacking the walls of the tank as if it saw its own reflection on the walls. this problem went away when i put gravel on the bottom. or if i just turn off the light inside of it and turn on the light in my room. its just something you should know before using it.

I bought this tank for my Betta, Alpha. It has a cool design, and the lights are cool. Only two problems; number one: it is hard to clean because of its design, number two: you can't get certain gravel/rocks because the light won't shine through them. All in all though, awesome tank! Thanks Petsmart!

When I first saw this tank I fell in love, but when I saw it I had my doubts. It seemed flimsy and cheaply made. I take a few buses to get home and I bumped this tank more then a few times and it survived just fine. My itty bitty betta absolutely loves it. You can fit a Marina heater in it. Two .99 cent plants, a small sakura tree, a Japanese moss ball, a themomater (sp?), a betta temple. Betta still has plenty of room to play around and I caught her today playing with a piece of nori I fed her.
PLAN on buying rubber feet for this tank. It sits flush on the desk and moisture will catch around where the batteries are. Also the lid has no place for cords to hang out so you have to leave the lid a bit open, if you decide to have a heater I suggest leaving it open an inch so it does not overheat. Another con is the USB port for lights I cannot find a USB that fits in that little slot.
Also I would also like to note the base is not attached so be careful when unwrapping. I think they are smart for doing this. Makes battery replacement easy.
Pros: easy to install, easy to clean, sturdy
