I just picked this up today and I do not agree with that other reviewer. Yes, the finishing on the edges of the tank aren't perfection, but I think it still looks very nice. I think it gives the tank a different look with it not having the framing. Very good for its price and the stand is pretty and simple. Also, very sturdy. Goes great in my room and overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and recommend it if you want a 20g tank. But keep in mind, you will have to buy a heater and a filter, those are not included.

This kit has huge potentials in design but visual quality is so poor, it is difficult to justify the investment. For the price, it makes a nice starter kit, but as the other reviewer said, the silicone connections are a huge , irrecoverable mess. It is possible to try to trim it back and clean it, but you run the risk of breaking down its constitution.
The frame is sturdy and the center of the surface is a hole. Although it will not cause support issues, however it is wise to put some fine foam pad between the tank and the stand to secure it against shifting and to balance the weight against any minor leveling issues. So some crafty trimming will be needed if you intend to keep a bare-bottom tank and peek from underneath.
Pros: sturdy

Bought the 20 Gallon frameless tank, which is packaged with the stand and a Marineland light recently as my second tank, and so far am happy with it.
The tank is frameless, which means it's basically 4 glass sides and a glass bottom just glued together - no black edges holding everything together. The silicone and edge glue is sufficient, but not neat and clean. It is clear, though, so you won't notice except from close up. There are some stray strands of sealant poking up, just resist the urge to pull on these or you'll peel the entire edge off. It comes with a hinged glass canopy, and sets on the tank with included plastic brackets. They seem to be wide enough that I haven't dropped the lid in the tank yet, but I sometimes do miss the lip on the framed tanks for added non-dropping-glass-things-security. The top edges of the glass are not incredibly smooth. they won't be slicing you up, but it would have been nice to see a nice buff or polish on the glass edges.
The stand is basic, pretty open, and a single shelf. No options for additional shelving (without DIY anyway). Doesn't wiggle or shake and is the proper size for the tank. One thing to mention is the stand top is not a solid piece of wood, it's just the border; the middle is a cutout. The majority of the edges sits on wood, but there's maybe a 6"x16" square of the glass bottomed tank only being supported by the edges. Not a concern unless you pile all of your rocks in the center of the tank, and if you go bare-bottom, you can look at the tank from underneath (not comfortable, but I guess technically you could)
The LED light is a Marineland Double-Bright 18-24" model, supposedly sufficient for low-light plants. Even if it's not, it's still a nice basic LED light. It has daylight and moonlight (blue LEDs only) mode, but if you're running on a timer, you can't switch between the two without manually flicking the switch over and back.
All in All, it's a decent buy for the price. At full-price and not on sale, you may want to shop around, since Frameless doesn't add much, but it's good to get the LED light included instead of the tubes. Buy it if the price is right for the components, and don't get sucked in by the concept of "frameless"
