My Pug was have diarrhea 3 or 4 times throughout the night. She acted as if she could not control her bowels. She would have large amounts of diarrhea and multiple piles. I tried this medication with canned pumpkin
***(just canned pumpkin not pie fillings or any added spices as it may be poisonous to dogs)*** I gave her a scoop of canned pumpkin twice a day with her food along with the appropriate dose of medication mixed in with her food. And within 24-48 she was making it through the night without going to the restroom and she was doing much better! I would highly recommend this product.
