My dog suffers from anxiety. In particular noises and wind. I put this collar on and within 24 hours he was noticeably calmer even during a wind storm. I will definitely be re-ordering.

So who here has a dog that never stops barking around people, dogs, leafs, dust, raindrops, etc. Well I do, when I adopted my monster the foster family did tell me he had barking issues they couldn't even bring him to adoption events because of how bad his bark was, My husband and I laughed it off saying oh come on how bad can his bark really bad I mean pshshaw. So we adopted the little bugger well within 2 hours.....we learned.....His no bark collar they lent us which give him a spritz of cinteronella did NOTHING he would just fight past it and keep going, He is my Barney Stinson, of no bark stuff, the collar didn't work, pills didn't work, calming collars, NOTHING. So desperate times call for desperate measures, We did try to talk to a trainer, they said its repressed anger/anxiety from what happened to him before he came to the rescue. Well I being one who doesn't believe in shock collars or choke. Was at whits end of just leaving him home all the time, but ALLAST! there was something that worked!!!!! This is stuff is amazing!! Will be buying again!

This product was on sale in the store, so I decided to buy it for a dog I'm fostering who has some separation anxiety. It lasted maybe 4 days. It did not work any of those days. Waste of money!!!!

This is truly an "attention getter" product. It is not a magic spray,however. You need to reinforce some kind of command when you spray it- "stop!" "no!" "UH UH." If used consistently, the results are truly remarkable. I keep the cansiter close by and take it with me when I walk my dogs. I have only used it for a week,and right now I mostly only have to give the command, "Stop" without the cannister, and I get the desired results. I have one dog that goes into a frenzy-or at least used to- whenever another dog, person, cat,, squirrel, ant, or fly is near our place. The other dog has supersonic hearing and starts barking way before the "intruder" approaches our property. He feeds the other one on. At any rate, I've only been using this product for a week. I no longer have to spray the spray every time I want them to stop their barking when I tell them to. and my dog just sat there watching, instead of barking furiously and trying to knock the door open. I was astounded! That was a first for him. This product gets their attention, calms them down, and makes them "get" that you're the boss. I don't mind my dogs barking to alert us that someone or something is in the vicinity. However, I do very much mind when they won't stop barking.

Nice & Effective So Far

I bought this yesterday from Petsmart because my 2-month-old Shih-tzu puppy (Pooka) keeps biting my pants and hangs on to me while I try to walk away. He bites my clothes even if I'm wearing skin tight leggings! I was very frustrated & annoyed so I went online to do some research. This product had twenty-one 5 star reviews! I thought "It MUST be great then". So far, so good. Pooka doesn't seem that scared of it though. Many people said that the dog gets scared as soon as he sees that small orange can but that doesn't seem to be happening yet with my Shih-tzu. Anyway, it's a nice product!

My Finished Spitz has literally been barking at EVERYTHING for the past 3 1/2 yrs. WELL NO LONGER!!! After only just five sprays she is no longer barking.....it's true....I just have to pick up the can and she thinks twice.....What a relief....now I have peace & quiet.....Thank You for such an amazing product.

Did not work on my dog

This item did not work for my dog. Once sprayed it just caused him to bark non stop until the can was put away. Everytime he saw the can, he would get in a attack stance and bark non stop.

I was having trouble controlling my barking. My owner talked to my trainer, Amanda, at PetSmart, about reluctantly purchasing a shocking collar and wanted her opinion. She suggested a product by Sentry called "Stop That" and with only one use, the results were simply AMAZING! Now, I only have to be shown the box and I know not to bark! One of the Petsmart trainers recommended I try this spray to help stop my dogs' barking. It worked immediately. They never bark inside the store anymore.

At home, when I use it consistently, it also works well. I've only used it for barking, and I highly recommend it.

I have a 2 year old Yorkie that barks consistently! I used this spray twice and she seems to have stopped so much barking but she is petrified of it. I used it on another dog and saw that the Yorkie was sitting in the corner shaking uncontrollably. I may not use it again for the simple fact that she is so terrifed of it and I am not sure if it is the noise or the odor. Seems to stop the behavior instantly.

My young cat is a big baby and would cry at night just so we'd be awake with him. Nothing was wrong and he had plenty of food. He does it sometimes when he's mad at us for not letting him lay on our lap. Anyhoo this stuff calmed him down and stops him from crying and keeping us up. Like the other reviews said, now just the seeing or reaching for the can stops his crying. We use to have a dog, I can see where this would have worked miricles with him too!!!!

My dog barks and barks and barks when anyone, including my boyfriend and myself, come or go from the house. We had been using a shock collar and she just wasn't getting it - on Halloween she just kept barking and getting shocked over and over. For the price of this product I figured it was worth a try. I can't believe how well this product works. I used it a few times and now all I have to do is show her the can and she steers clear of the door and there's no barking! Highly recommend this product!

Almost Mad at How Well this Works!

I adopted a dachshund pound puppy a couple months ago who was a stray. With him being too old to puppy train and being a typical dachshund, I started going insane dealing with his consistent, daily misbehavior. I finally brought him into PetSmart for training classes and knowing the trainer, I discussed his problems before class. The trainer began to describe this product to me and being as optimistic as possible, I couldn't imagine that a little dinky spray can could help with his misbehaviors. While we were standing there speaking about this product, my dashing dachshund was conveniently causing a scene in the store. The trainer pulled the can out of its box and said no with a stern voice and sprayed it...the dog went quiet and then sat there patiently. I was stunned! And after only using this product a few times, his misbehaviors have stopped and it's only been a couple hours! And because of that, I'm mad! This whole time, I could've used that "dinky spray can" to get him to behave for a couple bucks, rather than pulling my hair out for the past couple months. I really hope that every PetSmart has amazing trainers like mine, and I would certainly recommend this product to any size dog at any age

WOW...just WOW!! I read all of the awesome reviews on this product and lemme just tell you...THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY!! I can't even begin to express how impressed I am with Stop That!! My 6 month old puppy (Australian Cattle Dog Mix) is ALWAYS trying to 'run the pack' so a lot of times even when you give the command NOT to do something, he STILL does it and looks at you while he is doing it (just like a bratty kid). After using this product he IMMEDIATELY stopped his bad behavior and like another reviewer suggested I follow up with positive reinforcement. I also bought the Sentry Calming Spray which I sprayed around where he sleeps and even in the back of the car when we travel...it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. The whirling dirvish, chase the cat and act insane has totally stopped! Both products have a very pleasant smell which I also like. I will continue to purchase and use these products as long as I have animals. If you are at your wits end & as frustrated as I was...please do yourself a favor and GET THIS!

I have 4 dogs, a Miniature Schnauzer (Harley), Westie Poodle mix (Jackson), English Pointer (Titan) and a Brussels Griffon/Maltese mix (Bella). 3 out of the 4 are good kids...Jackson is the naughty one and has begun to influence his brothers/sister. His non-stop barking (at EVERYTHING) and jumping (on EVERYONE) has wore me down. I bought this spray on a whim and ....OMG it is a miracle!!! It took literally 1 spray and he immediately stopped barking/jumping. There have been a couple more times that I have had to grab the can...and that's it...He immediately stops when he sees the can...I dont even have to spray it anymore..... This spray has been mine (and jacksons) lifesaver. I tell everyone about it!!!!! My house has become a calm, relaxing sanctuary again...thank you...thank you ..thank you!!!!

Our trainer showed me this product last night. When I came home today alll six of my dogs were jumping and barking, as they usually do. Spray one of Stop That settled them immediately. When they started right up again, I sprayed one more time. After the third spray (I have a few stubborn unruly dogs- that's why we're going to training) there was no more barking or jumping.

"Stop That"!! Great product!! A friend of mine was watching my puppy while I was on vacation. When I brought home my little bundle, I found this can of "Stop That" in with his belongings. Wow, what a gift my friend gave me. The puppy is as good as gold now and I only have to say, "Stop That" and amen, bad behavior stops!!! Try it and you too will become a believer.

We adopted a rescue dog with several behavioral issues, and this product has helped us deal with many unwanted behaviors such as begging at the table and play biting. All we have to do is say "do I have to get the spray?" or show the can, and the dog stops the unwanted behavior immediately. Truly an amazing product. I was skeptical when my family member first purchased it but it has turned out to be great.

I got Stop That! based on reviews. I was skeptical, because the calming collars i heard weren't as good. But i was desperate, so i bought the spray. It comes in a 1oz orange bottle, kinda hard to find at the stores, but it comes in a purple sentry box, usually where all the health supplies are. I have a 3 month old puppy, and this calms her down. Granted, it takes up to 2 sprays, but it works so well! As soon as i spray it, she calms down and stops her annoying behavior. My puppy however, is not afraid of the bottle like the other reviews. I have to spray it everytime to get her to calm down. Worth the money, but I have bought a few bottles because 1 won't do it for us. This product is recommended! And if it doesn't work, you can always return it.
