Though better than Natures Recipe (which he broke all out in hive like rash), I believe that puppies are in the most need of protein and at only 27%, it is lacking in this department. I am curently in search of a puppy/all life stages canine food that has at least 34% protein.

Was a little nervous about using this food after reading several bad reviews online. Decided to give it a try since our puppy was suffering from hair loss, upset stomach, and itchy skin/eyes. Our vet suggested we get something grain free. After eating Blue for 2 weeks her stomach was much better, her hair began to grow back, and no more itchy skin/eyes. She's been eating it for a few months now and we aren't looking back. It's great!

When my puppy came come he had terrible gas for weeks. Our puppy trainer suggested the "Blue Freedom Grain-Free" as a wondeful alternative to what we were giving him. I couldn't be happier with the product, my dog loves the taste and we love the results. It has significantly reduced the number of times my puppy clears the room LOL! I'm really happy with this brand.

I have two young pups (8 and 5 months) and they both LOVE this food. I find that it is very easy on their digestive system. We have had no accidents in the house since making the transition and I find that it is pretty much clock work as to when they need to go outside. I know what their typical elimination looks like so if it looks odd to me, then I know they ate something else. Overall, I am very pleased with this food and to find something both of my dogs love, makes it that much easier to feed them. It is a bit on the pricier side but knowing it is gentle on them and prevents accidents and discomfort is totally worth it in my eyes!

This is the best dog food I have ever found for my dogs. We have six dogs in our house and two of them have an allergy to the corn and wheat glutten that is found in most dog foods. They scratch so bad and bite themselves so bad they would bleed and they would actually chew their fur off. The only thing I have found to help them was the grain free Blue Freedom. Now it is the only thing I feed them. I have three adult dogs and three puppies. It is the only thing that has worked. It is a little pricey but my babies are worth it.

I used to feed my little chihuahua puppy with other grain free dry food, but since I changed his meal to Buffalo Blue Freedom, I noticed he feels more satisfied and enjoys better his meals. I even use it for rewarding him when training as a treat and he simply loves it!

I have a french bulldog which tends to be very gassy. He was on purina puppy chow and it was horrible. Once I switched him to Blue his gas was not as bad as before. My other dog which is a mixed breed has allergies and now doesn't need shots every week. Worth the money.

Prior to Switching to BLUE Freedom, my puppy was itching and not going outside regularly. Now that she has been on BLUE freedom everything is better. She has had predictable potty breaks, less itching, and overall loves the food.

I took owership of a american pitbull terrier puppy at 4 weeks old. Bother her parents, which I know well, suffer from allergies to just about everything. I did some research on various brand of food for puppies with high risk of allergies and discovered Blue Freedom. I was skeptical and worried my young pup wouldn't get the necessary nutrients she needed to grow strong and healthy. She is now a 40 lb 5 month old beautiful pit. Her coat is amazingly soft and silky, her muscle tone is characteristic of the breed and with the exception of a lot of sneezing, her allergies have not been an issue. i honestly am able to say, I couldn't have asked for a better product for such an important part of our family.

I brought home a 7.5 week old Beagle. She'd been on Brand X Puppy Stuff. I didn't even use the bag of "free" food the breeder sent home after the first day. I did a one day transition to BB Freedom Puppy.
Winnie LOVED the food from her very first bite. She just had her 3 month checkup today and the Vet said she was perfect in every way. Her coat is shiny and she sheds very little. Never scratches (except at her harness).
Best of all, she has NEVER passed gas and her little "tootsie rolls" are the least smelly I've ever been around. If I don't see an indoor "accident" in her playpen, I don't know it's there because there is no odor associated with it.
You ARE what you eat applies to humans and to puppies!

I was hesitant to buy Blue Buffalo because one of my parents dogs (a Bernese Mountain Dog) hated the taste of it but I decided to give it a try anyways. My 10 week old Great Pyrenees/Shepard mix (we are not 100% sure of what he is, he was a rescue) was having some stool problems and was itching a ton. So, we figured we would try this grain-free version and boy has it made a difference! His stools are finally solid and his itching has decreased dramatically. He's only been eating it for a couple of weeks now but is really loving it! We even use the bits as treats for training and he loves it! Hopefully he continues loving it and we will transfer him to the adult version when the time comes!

My Coton de Tulear just loves Blue Freedom. She was having a lot of itching. It has decreased tremendously. Plus she loves the food so much, she just gobbles it up.

I have a mini long hair dachshund, she was having major diarrhea. I changed her to Blue and her stomach has gotten way better. My little girl loves this food. Naturally I am happy with this food.

I have a beagle mix pup with some sensitivity to food. He was itching all the time and his stool was very loose. After switching to the Freedom blend, he has a normal stool and the itching stopped.
From Lucky's perspective, he enjoys the food and eats it up like a happy pup.
I highly recommend!

I have two shih tzu's that are very picky eaters and also scratch CONSTANTLY. I changed over their food to this hoping the limited ingredients would possibly eliminate some allergies. Not only do they love the taste (shocker) their itching has dramatically decreased. The kibble is also very small and a good size for my 7 lb dogs.
