Great product but not the same as Lamb & Rice

My german shepherd has had allergies in his eyes (red, watery), shaking his head, ear infections, chewing and licking paws, etc...

I switched from Science Diet to Eukanuba to Blue to Fromm and then Blue again. My 11 years old shepherd loved the Lamb & Brown rice adult Blue formula but I bought a small bag and had already purchased Fromm. He did not like Fromm much so I switched back to Blue and tried this senior turkey and potato formula. Some improvements were noticed, in minor scales, as he still shakes his head, has red eyes and licks and chews paws. He does not get crazy to eat like he was doing with the lamb formula so I am switching back to the lamb.

This one simply dit not work as I was expecting but I can see working for many other dog owners so I give it a 3 star.

Great for my allergy-prone dogs!

For YEARS I have battled with my dogs allergies. Each vet visit is typically over $300 for her skin infections, ear infections and bowel problems. Never once was it suggested that her problem could be food allergies! A friend suggested I try a limited ingredient dry food. I now use Blue Basics Turkey and Potato and my dogs allergies have all but disappeared! The food is on the expensive side but it has seriously saved me on vet visits!
