I bought this because it was especially for Chihuahuas, and she is very small. She was eating the soft cat food because it was easier to eat and now all she eats is the royal canine. In fact the cat eats it to. I tried another brand and it did not go over well. I will be feeding this to her for as long as she likes.

My 3 month old puppy cannot get enough of Royal Canin's Chihuahua puppy food! When I put it in his bowl, he eats it right up. I know that the nutrients he gets from the food gives him great energy for his playful demeanor. I also feel more comfortable knowing that this food is specifically for him. I appreciate the informative labeling provided on the bag-- it gives great advice for owners who want to understand their puppy's needs. After seeing such great results from his developed appetite, I am going to keep with this brand, even after his puppy stage. :)

I love the fact this food is special just for Chihuahua's! I had tequila on grocery store food at first, and her "number 2" was not right!! I bought The puppy starter kit and it came with a FREE bag of food, and so much more!! I was told about all the puppy food and decided to go with this one and GREAT food!! Tequila has no more tummy trouble, more active and I think it's super food because she had a growth spurt haha!! Thanks PetSmart :D

I first got my tea-cup Chihuahua when she was already on Royal Cannin Chihuahua 28' and she seemed to love it. I offered her some fresh veggies like spinach and a little peas, which she enjoys as well with her Royal Cannin. I have not seen her turn it down, she loves the crunch; and I love that it cleans her teeth while she eats.
She is 3.5lbs now and on the Adult Chihuahua and enjoys that, It was a easy transfer; I also would say shes a picky eater but Royal Cannin seems to do the trick to get her to eat.

Pros: high quality, digestible, taste
