This product is the best by far. I have no problems with my babies with Blue. Blue doesn't irritate their stomachs and gives them a shiney healthy coat. I recommend this to anyone who has cats this is the best choice I have made for them.

I have 3 cats and 2 have urinary tract issues. One is on a script diet and the other wasn't bad enough to need that. I had a hard time finding a food that my female would eat-if I wasn't the one physically serving her. I was told for my little guy that I needed to control his magnesium content or he could get a UTI again and possibly need a script diet. Got in touch with blue and the mg content was the same as what he was on and since he kept wanting to eat his sisters food this was perfect. As a rule I try and stay away from fish with my little guy cuz of the mg in fish. Found a food that was perfect for both of my cats. And they LOVE IT! my little guy never wanted to eat his food, but now he cries for it. It is a food my female will eat even if I'm not the one feeding her. And my little guy has quite the appetite for it. I am just so thrilled that I found a food that they actually like and is healthy for them. They like the wet food to. Blue has been great with ingredients and staying on top of their product quality.

Long search for grain free for my 3 mature cats that had enough fibre and lower protein (for mature kidneys) but this fits the bill. No more straining or wayward poops on the floor from constipation. Coats shine more with Freedom. Fat level ensures they enjoy it. Highly recommended.

Our Ragdoll Bella will eat anything.... She's not exactly the pickiest eater. :) But some foods just didn't agree with her, digestively speaking, which is not so great with a long haired cat. We switched her to a completely grain free diet, and started with the BB Freedom Grain Free dry food. Much, much better for everybody involved, especially Bella! She loves the food, her coat is nice and shiny, and she has much firmer stool. Great quality food, we feed Blue Buffalo to all of our pets.

I had just adopted my cat and was sent home with a different food, a food that she would not eat. I noticed that she was eating the Blue Buffalo Freedom food when I went to see her.
I immediately bought the food, brought it home, filled up her dish and she went right to it and has been eating it ever since.
She really loves this food and it is so good for her.

At the advice of my vet, I switched to a grain free diet. This was one of the brands she recommended. You do have to measure the food because e it is easy for the cats to gain weight. However, they have done wonderful on it. They were previously on a royal canin Rx diet. Do not panic by the price. You feed significantly less based on the weight of the cat.

I have recently changed to Blue Buffalo Freedom dry food for Indoor cats for my cat since she has gained a lot of weight. My Vet recommended that I not feed her any moist food until she lost about 3 pounds. Do you consider this the best of your brand that I can feed her? I really like your product and so does my Vet. Just wanted to be sure.

I have 7 wonderful indoor cats. One has health issues since we got her, she was a feral kitten of 3 weeks when we got her 18 months ago. The other 6 are your typical cats aged from 8 months to 4 years. We had originally had them on Purina Pro cat food. We switched to Nutro because the cats were puking on average of 6 times a day. Once on Nutro, we were down to about 10 times a week or less. We then decided to switch to Blue Freedom. We have had 1 puking in the 6 weeks of the cats being on this. They eat both the dry and canned. They love it!

During the time that they have been eating Blue, we have noticed that their hair has become silkier, their muscle tone is beautiful, there is a lot less waste and litter box smell. A few of the cats had bad breath before blue. The bad breath is gone!! I am so pleased with this cat food. It is higher priced, but the savings I am finding is less litter, less paper towels and carpet cleaning products. It really does balance out.

The only problem I find with this product is that it does not come in a 20lb bag.

I was feeding my cats cheaper food with lots of fillers before switching to this food. They were going through the bag quickly, getting hair balls, etc. I was a little hesitant since it's a little more expensive than the other cat foods, but I figured I'd try anyway. I did, and my cats love it! I purchase the 11 lb bag about every month and a half (I have 2 cats). It keeps them fuller longer so they don't eat as much. I was buying 20 lbs bags of the cheaper food every 3 weeks or so! Also, this food has made their coats shinny and luscious (they are both long haired), and one of my favorites.. NO HAIRBALLS! This food has been the best I've ever served my cats and I will continue to feed this food to them.

One of my cats is 15 years old. Bless her little heart she has spent most of her life vomiting. Once I was advised by a lady at petsmart to try The Blue Freedom indoor grain free cat food....I bought it that day and started her on it that night. We are talking miracle here. She very rarely vomits now. I just wish I would have known to do this a long time ago...I never thought about feeding her grain free, But...she is doing great NOW and NOW is what counts.

My babies, Flurry 3 1/2 months old, and Precious, 7 months old, both have grain allergies and both were very gassy, and their poo's smelled awful before switching to BB. My 7 month old also had terrible bloating in her tummy and while on even a high caliber formula from another brand, and blew up like a balloon every time she ate. As a concerned pet parent I poured through the internet for hours comparing food and ingredients and came across Blue Buffalo. Within 48 hours of switching, my Precious' stomach was back to normal, and both their poo's were normalizing and the odor was drastically reduced. As an added bonus, in just 2 weeks, both their fur was super shiny and felt as smooth as silk!! I love them and will never feed them anything else!!

My big Syman now. But as a little guy.. coughed. i thought he was to young for hair balls. tried sensitive diet brands.. hair ball formulas.. laxatone ..nothing worked. I'm not sure why this brand works ..but it does .when Ive switched it ..he coughes again..it breaks my heart. sooo.. thank you. he has special needs and you have found his formula. I have 2 more and they seem to enjoy it too.

This is one of the best dry foods you can get for your cat, with real chicken as the first ingredient. My cat loved the light pieces, but for some reason she didn't care for the darker "lifesource bits." She would eat most of the darker bits eventually, when there wasn't anything else.
I fed my cat Freedom for 2 or 3 months before switching to high-quality canned food. Even the best dry food doesn't have enough protein or water to meet my cat's health needs. But most cats would probably do fine with a half wet, half dry Blue Buffalo diet.

I have a 7-year-old dark torti who I was feeding 3 times a day. Over the course of the day, she was getting more than 2 cups of the high-end, sensitive-stomach food, and was losing weight because of all the vomiting she was doing. Her hair coat looked dull and she spent all her time begging food from me. She saw 2 different vets, and the second suggested this grain-free food. I have to admit, she didn't like it at first, but she was hungry enough to eat it. She likes it now, and there's no more vomiting. I now feed her 1/4 cup once daily, her coat gleams, she's at a healthy weight and is not begging all day long. (6 pets: two dogs, 2 cats, a horse and a donkey).

If you are looking for a very healthy alternative to by-products and corn gluten meal (number one and number two ingredients in many dry cat foods) then buy this product for your cats. I have three senior cats who are very particular so I was nervous about trying something new- they all loved it immediately! I highly recommend this dry food!

As mentioned by one of the other reviewers, my cats have also stopped throwing up! YEY! Oh and another bonus- litter boxes are not as stinky!
