My cat Smokey always ate her food quickly and without chewing very much since she was a kitten which, lead to her vomiting more frequently then most. She is now 13 and was losing a substantial amount of weight within a month to the point where you can physically notice the difference! My vet had suggested all salmon diet by Blue Buffalo. I've been steadily weaning Smokey onto it now and she has gained the weight back and hasn't vomited in 2+ months! She weights 9lbs. and is very spry for her age I now feed her 2tbsp. in the morning and at dinner time with me! She very full, has no need for chewing anymore and is full of proteins and fish oil (Salmon & Fish oil is the main ingredient to help with the IBD) I couldn't be a happier with Bule Buffalo's results!
Pros: high quality, digestible, taste

I normally feed my cat a cheaper cat food, but got her this as a special treat. I noticed it is 95% salmon, and my cat loves salmon. Unsurprisingly, she ate this right up. But she also does the same when I feed her the cheaper food. In fact, the cheaper food has the same nutritional content as this, the difference being that the cheaper food contains by-products. But my cat doesn't seem to care, and therefore nor do I. Cats eat the by-products when they hunt in the wild, so you'd think Blue Wilderness would contain at least some organ meat? All by-products are not bad, but they've been give a bad rep in the natural pet food industry. I've once heard it said that natural pet food like Blue is formulated mainly to appeal to humans, making them think they have to feed their pets exactly what they eat. But would a human eat a mouse? And isn't that what cats like to eat in the wild?
This is a fine cat food, but because the taste and nutritional content is similar to the cheaper food, I'm not going to switch to Blue exclusively anytime soon.

I have a very picky calico named Lily. She's been feed tuna as a treat on a regular basis. I bought this brand hoping to wean her off of the tuna. She LOVES it! YEAH!
