Got this for my Corgi, she loves it! She chases it around the living room all day even for just a few pieces of her kibble inside! Durable but not for heavy chewers. Lots of room for kibble bits.

My Ladybird loves this toy. Keeps her nose engaged and she rolls this little ball all over my apartment occasionally she picks it up and throws it at me demanding a refill. Treats are great, hard to find the right size though. More often then not I find myself breaking up larger treats so they fit inside the toy. Although I sometimes find putting her kibble inside gets her playing just as eagerly as with treats.
Highly recommended. Though you may find the ball thrown in your lap when pup demands more.

It took him a while to figure it out - now that he has, I enjoy watching all his tricks to get the treats to fall out. It's good exercise for him too - chasing the ball around the house.

I got one of these for my old hounddog for Christmas. She has little interest in any toy or ball, she was a hunter in her younger days and just doesn't get the whole play idea. She is a smart girl and finds it ridiculous to return balls, play tug or chew nicely on anything.
She is food motivated and learns tricks quickly because of it. The only toy that will hold her interest at all has to have food involved and with her strong teeth and jaws, she ruins most toys within hours (even the ones said they are made for distruction dogs). I didn't expect this treatball to last through Christmas morning, but she had to get something :)
She wore herself out the first day pushing it all around the house with her nose. She almost knocked the tree over following it! Finding it the next day was the biggest challenge for us.
The younger hound has never been as smart, but she devised a way to make it work and it isn't too complicated for her (did I mention she is not too bright?)
So both the smart and not so smart dog enjoyed this toy, they didn't find any reason to ruin it the first day so we've been using since Christmas and it is fun to watch them play with it.
I would advise using round treats the size of the colorful round treats at the by the pound treat bar at PetSmart. I bought some dog kibble that was round but it was just a little bit smaller so it falls out too easily for my liking (not for the dogs...they didn't care which size at all!)
I plan to return to buy a second one and more treats it fill it.

My Old English Sheepdog loves this toy. We have had it for a year now and it has really help up well. She is a moderate chewer and will try to chew it to get the treats. When we travel we put kibble in it to keep her busy. She also is very easily stressed by loud noises so this is a great distraction. I would pay $30 dollars for this toy in the future. It also doesn't say in the description but this toy is vanilla scented so it would be great for a blind dog!

It took my dog a couple days to really get the hang of this toy, but since she figured it out she has had a blast. It is a great way to keep her active and happy without needing my help (unless it rolls under the furniture.)

My Corgi loves this ball. He plays with it whether it is filled with treats or not. The design allows him to pick it up and carry it around easily. It fits pretty large treats in it as well. It's one of his favorite toys, he always knows where it is to play. It is also super durable! My Corgi is a very avid, strong chewer and he has yet to make a mark in this toy!

We bought this treat ball 11.5 years ago. We went to the shelter and adopted our Patton a German Shepard/Border Collie mix and soon found out that he had separation anxiety. Our vet told us to look into a "treat ball" we bought this one and he had loads of fun with it. We would fill up the ball in the morning with small treats (we used Bil-Jack liver treats) and he would still be playing with the ball when we returned from work. When he started to outsmart the ball and get all the treats at once, we started using the ball for fetch outside. The ball is very durable, made of a hard rubber material. Our Patton passed away earlier this morning but this was by far one of his favorite toys and I'm sure he will be rolling around with something similar in heaven :)
The only con I can think of with this ball is that it is difficult to clean.

We just got a 3 month old border collie 3 weeks ago, and he wants to just keep his mind busy constantly. He used to eat his food in flat 30 seconds. We got this for him & now its taking him 30 mins ! He gets tired after eating from this. Only thing is that towards the end when there are 10 pieces left and really difficult to get, he tends to give up.
I am glad we bought this, it keeps his mind going & keeps him busy.
I would not recommend it for heavy chewers though, as frustration can lead to chewing of the toy.

I have a baby pot belly pig who needed a toy. This busy ball is wonderful for him. He is able to nudge it and get his cheerios out while staying active.
I do have a large dog who chews everything and he got a hold of the ball and put a small hole in it. But any person can tell this ball is NOT made for strong destructive dogs. My other dogs who are little have figured out that cheerios come out of it and they follow the pig and the ball around.
The one bad thing now my pig thinks all balls are suppose to give him treats so he pushes every kind of ball around in my house. Overall this was a great purchase for my pig.

Cons: easily destroyed

My neighbor had originally purchased this for her shepard who didn't care for it so she gave it to me for my then 6-month old lab. From the first time I filled it with kibble it has been non-stop use. There are days he will only eat his meals from the ball.
I never worry about him chewing it up. I have tried other treat balls/dispensers but this is by far his favorite.
We travel alot and this is a great toy to bring on any trip, it rolls only as much as he makes it, its not very noisy so it won't bother anyone.

I adopted an older ShihTzu that was rescued from the puppy mill bust in Hillsville, VA a few years ago. She was terrified of all squeaky toys, could care less about stuffed animals, not interested in Kongs or anything else I bought for her to play with. Until this treat ball. It took me a while to show her how to use it (she's insanely cute but not the brightest of bulbs). Once the light went on in her head SHE LOVES IT! She will spend an hour gently pawing it and munching on the "prizes" she gets. Her tail up and as happy as can be. I can't help but get teary eyed sometimes seeing her so happy and knowing what horrible things she went through in the past to get to her "retirement". This is the ONLY toy she has ever played with. It works very well with many different size kibble and small treats. Probably not the best for large dogs who want to chew on it. Thank you for helping make my girl happy. <3

This type of toy was recommended to me for my extremely smart and energetic dog. I showed the toy to my Belgian Mal and she watched me put the treats inside. She didn't even bother playing with it. She ignored it and found another toy. I prompted her to get the ball and tried to show her the treats. Then she decided she would like the treats after all and ripped a larger hole in the ball. Once the treats were gone she ripped the rest of the ball into smaller pieces. This took about 5 minutes.

I have an eight month old corgi puppy who was getting destructive and not really eating his puppy chow anymore. I stopped in petsmart after he decided that our carpet was his newest snack treat.... and the trainer said he was bored! She showed me a variety of toys and this one struck home, it was low in price, unbreakable and simple to use. I took it home and it was a hit! He started using it immediately. We put his breakfast and dinner in it and if it's empty, we get the fill it up look from him. It stopped him from chewing and is his new favorite toy. Had it for about three weeks and there's no signs of being chewed up or destroyed. He loves it!
