Safe for giant breeds, especially Great Danes

I feed this to my now 7-month old Great Dane puppy. I had a concern about foods with higher calcium content, because he has mild cow hocks and is a fast grower, fatest of the three Danes I've owned so I want to help prevent any skeletal growth problems. Innova LBP has the lowest minimum calcium yet, at 0.76%, and well-balanced protein and fat. The ingredients, including whole-grain barley, oats and brown rice were easy for him to digest (I tried Innova's grain-free kibble and all that potato gave him huge poops, so there went that "easily-digestible potato" myth). His coat is super shiny, too. Highly recommended for any weaned Great Dane puppy.

My pitbull puppy loves this food. I hadn't seen this in stores before so I was giving her the Innova puppy food. Then I accidentally got this and she tried to get in the bag as soon as I opened it. I have been buying it ever since. We had a tried a couple of other brands when we first got her and they all made her really gassy and she didn't have consistent stools. That cleared up as soon as we switched to Innova. She really loves the taste of the large breed puppy food though.

I switched my Australian Shepherd pup from Blue Buffalo to this puppy food. Let me tell you: she LOVES it! Since I'm weaning her off the Blue Buffalo, I give her 1/4 of the Innova. She picks at it and tries to only eats the Innova. Bet she can't wait to get a full bowl of this stuff.

I have a 9 month old Great Dane puppy. We started him out on the Innova Large Breed Puppy Food because all the ingredients seemed perfect for his growing needs. He never had consistent stool and would sometimes have really bad runny stool after a lot of exercise. We finally decided to switch his food to something for sensitive stomachs and his stool has been much more normal and he is pooping less (which I hope means he is absorbing more nutrients). Just a warning to Great Dane puppy owners.

I cannot say enough good things about this food. It's such a shame my dog's stomach didn't agree with the adult food as well.
My Golden Retriever puppy was on this food from Day 1 in our house. When we first got our puppy, he had 3 cups per day. At around 4-7 months, we put him on 4 cups, and slowly cut him down to 2 cups per day by a year. He grew up beautifully and never, ever had any problems. He's a year and a half now, and I'm so thankful I chose this food for my baby.
Fantastic food. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I have a 2 month old goldendoodle who was experiencing diarrhea, the doctors claimed he had worms even though they couldn't find any. My puppy was at that time eating IAMs puppy chow. We switched his food to science diet (terrible idea) That switch did nothing and we went to 2 different doctors and no one could figure out what to do. My fiance went online looked up foods and found Innova. We went to Petsmart that same day bought the food and served him Innvoa for dinner without mixing in his old food. By morning his diarrhea was gone my pup was happy and so were we. This food was a miracle and solved what the doctors couldn't figure out. It's a bit expensive but I will pay what I have to believe me puppy diarrhea is not fun!

I bought this for my 11 week Pitbull puppy and he is very satisfied with it, he's always excited at meal times. I will be sticking with Innova!

Our Saint Bernard, Willy, really loves this food. He enjoys the taste, i enjoy the fact it's a good food for him. It's specially formulated for slow growth for giant dogs and it doesn't have corn or anything silly in it like colours or fillers. He's never had "growing pains" which can happen if large dogs like saints and danes grow too fast. His coat is healthy, shiny and he's lean and well muscled. He's 10 months now and i plan on sticking with Innova for when he's grown and i plan on switching our cat over to Innova brand too. If you're looking for a really good natural/holistic dog food (or cat food), i highly recommend this brand.

I have a 6 month old Great Dane Pup. We have tried another "high end" brand. It did not sit well with his belly. He loves his Innova Large Breed Puppy food and runs into his crate eagerly at feed time. I would not switch his food and intend to use Innova Adult Food once he reaches 2 years of age.
Pros: high quality
