Keeva loves Wellness!! We are going to be switching Laker over to Wellness as well. Keeva's grain intolerance is no longer a problem and she just seems like a more energetic dog. I would definitely recommend Wellness to anyone! I can't wait to switch Laker over and see how he does.

This food is awesome! Our 2 year old shih tzu/maltese mix had all sorts of skin issues, lots of itching until she started on this food. She eats it like crazy, so it must be tasty and her skin is so much better. Plus, her stools are small and easier to deal with! Strongly recommend!

My dachshund love this food. I chose it because of the ingredients. The price is similar to other brands but the content is way better for my dog.

After a year or more of trial and error, I found Wellness Core. It is expensive, but totally worth it if you have an allergy dog or one with a sensitive stomach. My dog is both.
My pug, Crowbar, has mass cell cancer. She is also highly allergic to multiple foods, vaccinations, and grass. That being said, I have had her on a laundry list of foods, all "top" brands, all "hypoallergenic," yet they actually contain gluten, wheat, corn, corn syrup, and other ingredients that cause harm to her.
Wellness Core is the only food that she does not react to and does not vomit back up! It has quality ingredients, and actually smells decent. I highly recommend it!

I feed Wellness CORE to my White German Shepherd Dog, Noah. He has a grain allergy, so we have to be very selective with his food choice. The water content of the first ingredient, deboned turkey, should probably have been placed further down the list due to its water content after dehydration; the ingredients list implies there is more than there likely is. However, the second and third ingredients are both named meat meal products, meaning this product contains a significant amount of meat, and adds to the protein quality of the food. The next ingredient is peas, which is a healthy vegetable for canines, as they are omnivores. The next ingredient is potatoes, which is a healthy starch alternative to cheap fillers. It does not contain grain, which is a cheap filler used in many dog foods. While the price of this brand is quite steep, this is likely one of the most (if not the best) quality food PetSmart offers; it even rivals high-end kibble you could get from online specialty stores. The ingredients, however, may look intimidating for someone who does not know much about the ingredients of dog food. Dried enterococcus faecium fermentation product, for example, may sound like a questionable chemical, but it is in fact a helpful gut flora that assists with digestion, like what you would find in yogurt.

My 2 5 year old Afghans have been on Core Wellness since I adopted them at 5 months old.
Their coats are beautiful and no allergic reactions.
My only question is that they only get 1/2 cup in the morning, and 1/2 cup at night. At night I add chicken breast.
However, afghan breeders say they are fat.
I can't imagine feeding less.
Love the food, but what to do about their weight.

As a breeder Hight Nutrition is very important to us. Wellness Core is a great food it has everything a dog needs leaving out all the unnecessary ingredients. My dogs have beautiful shiny coats and healthy skin. They love it! The only thing That I dislike about the food is the price LOL we go through 4 bags a month to feed all our dogs, but its worth it. I recommend this food to all of our puppys buyers I even send each puppy home with a bag :)

I started my beagle on the Reduced Fat Wellness Core so she could lose weight. I switched to the Original Recipe when she sucessfully lost her weight. She loves this food just as much as she loved the Reduced Fat. I enjoy the side benefits of the grain free formulas--less shedding, less scratching and much cleaner ears, benefits I wasn't expecting. Yes, it's more expensive than "regular" dog foods, but the Beagle is worth it! I'm so glad I did my research and decided on this brand.

My dogs love this food and do very well on it. I convinced my parents to switch to this food from another well-known brand. On the previous food, their young airedale was showing problems with her joints, and a vet had even recommended putting her on medication for it. Within a week of switching to this food, she was back to acting like a puppy, instead of an old lady. This is a grain-free food, since many dogs (terriers especially) have problems digesting grain. The ingredients in this food are all high quality stuff that is good for a dog's diet.

I bought this food for my small poodle mix and I've had trouble getting her to eat it, from day 1. I don't know if its the food or she's just a picky eater but my dog didn't like it.

I have a 9 y/o Pomeranian and a 9 month old Pit Bull. My Pom has been on this food for over a year now, and my newly rescued Pit has been on it since we got her. Both dogs LOVE it! Both of their coats are great, minimal shedding, easy to digest and well balanced with no fillers. Also, it's made in the U.S.A.

My corgi has been a horrendous shedding machine. Most corgi owners know this downside going into ownership.
I've fed Bebop high end dog food since he was a baby but none had any effect on his coat.
When I changed to Wellness Core 4 months ago the shedding has been measurably slowing down to almost zero. This stuff rocks!

Absolutely love this food! One of my bulldogs is allergic to everything under the sun but steak, so our vet recommended this food. You are going to read a bunch of reviews that are going to give you the specs, but I can tell you is that since we started feeding our two this food, no more upset stomachs, no more diarrhea, just fully of energy dogs! Their poo actually decreased in size! Overall, love love this food!

I have a 4yr old corgi who love his Wellness Core dog food. He's got a bit of a sensitive tummy but has no troubles since he's been eating this brand. Unless he get into someone else's dog food or gets slipped some people food. I love that I don't have to feed him a large amount but still feel like he's getting a quality meal. His coat always looks amazing even though I don't brush as often as I should. I recommend this stuff to anyone whose looking for a more holistic dog food but still want to be able to get it at PetSmart.

My 9lb chihuahua loves this food. When I arrived home with it for the first time, I sat my petsmart bags on the couch while I continued to unload my groceries. Normally my dog comes outside to "help me unload the car". I turned around and she was not there. She was in the house on the couch investigating my petsmart bags. She had no concern about what I was doing outside. She absolutely loves the taste of Wellness over her current Science Diet. We have tried regular wellness for small breed and the new grain free. My only wish is that they make a small kibble for small dogs. She is really struggling with the triangle shaped kibble that is too large for her small mouth and teeth and I am considering taking this back for that reason.
