Learn about tanks before purchase

I received this tank a little over a year ago and haven't been using it for about the past six months. This is a great starter tank, all depending on what you're using it for. Knowing now what I know about tanks I would not have bought this one, but it was given to me as a gift. With it being a small tank it really isn't low maintenance. I found that I would have do a partial water change every three days for ideal conditions. Also, the current on it's lowest setting was still too much for my Black Moor (Igor Jr.) to handle. My Betta (Vivaldi) also didn't seem at place in this tank. The fact that this tank doesn't come with a heater is another downfall. What I really enjoyed about this tank was the lights. They're bright enough to grow live plants which is always a plus, the blue lights are also a great feature. Unfortunately, about four-five months after owning this tank, some of the LED lights started to flicker, creating a strobe effect. This was the main reason for me to stop using this tank. As stated earlier knowing know what I know about tanks I would have never bought this tank, but for someone who needs a great little starter tank and knows what will thrive and be happy inside it will be an awesome purchase. Ignorance is not bliss when it comes to fish tanks. :)

the tank is great dose not leak. the flow is strong and that is a very good thing. the tank is a very sturdy and the led light is grate. Its very bright good for live plants and moss ball.
