I bought this for my kitten when we got him at 8 weeks and I've loved it. Only issue was that it didn't fit him very snuggly. He was an average sized kitten at 8 weeks, although he's a maine coon so who knows how bug he'll get! It this product was too small for him I could only guess other people have the same issue with this.
Another issue with size for this product- He's only 6 months old and I already have to get him a new harness. He's the length of a full grown cat but his body is still tiny (again..he's Maine Coon) so I'm confused why it doesn't fit. The largest option on this harness is not very easy to adjust; there's a piece of plastic at the end and it doesn't allow you to get the max size possible.
This product would be better if the size of the kitten was taken into consideration by the company instead of just guessing. A 5lb kitten will have issues with this harness being too tight, esp my 9lb Maine Coon kitten. It's a shame too since I really liked it.
One small note- this isn't the easiest harness to adjust while it is on your cat. Be prepared to pull and tug. Hopefully you're cat will understand.
