I wish to say that this tank is a good and solid home, perfect for my little betta fish. He enjoys swimming up and down and up and down the long panels. The 'filter system' is more like an aerator which is not needed for a betta and simply freaks them out. Cleaning? Couldn't be easier. Due to It's shape, it should not hold anything other than one betta. It is easy to put a heater in there as well. Overall, a wonderful tank!

I have my red beta in this tank & he loves it. The bubbles are a little fast but it doesn't bother him.
Some have complained about the small feeding hole.
I have a small funnel that I use for feeding. No mess.
Considering getting another for beta #4. Excellent price point.

I bought this tank over a year ago now, just as a decorative low maintenance kitchen counter tank. Its been wonderful, we have only had guppies in it and no complaints. However, we recently bought two new guppies as 2 of the 3 of our original ones died. Little did i know we had a female and then bought males, I now have a pregnant Guppy thats expected to have up to 50 babies in a 2 gallon tank with 3 of them in there already, obviously this has nothing to do with the tank itself, but a word of caution; 2 gallons is very small so really know what you are putting into the tank or you'll end up with way to many fish and have to buy a new bigger tank or have the babies die.

I loved this tank. I have 2 of them, and I'm planning to get a third. I have 2 Betta's and 5 guppies. Right now 1 Betta occupies 1 of them, and my 5 guppies (2m 3f) occupy the other, and I NEED another one for my other Betta. I would recommend this tank, but my Betta pellets always get stuck in the feeding hole. And its too small for guppies AND Betta's. I tried to put 1 male in with another female guppy and my Betta, but they DO NOT get along. And then I put all 5 of them in with my older Betta, but that didn't work either. But overall, It's great for 1 Betta OR 5-8 guppies.

Excellent for Betta or small fish

I purchased this to sit on my desk. It fits perfectly along the back panel of my fairly small corner desk. I love the shape of the tank, which makes for interesting viewing angles. It was so easy to install that I had it ready for water in about ten minutes. My betta loves it, as do my ghost shrimp who help me keep it clean, as I am not entirely sure that the undergravel filter does as good of a job as a standard filtration system. However, my water always looks clear, so I must assume that the filtration system works well enough. The only issue I have seen with the tank is that the air stone does not desire to stay at the bottom of the bubble tube like it is supposed to, and I wish the feeding hole was a little larger. Sometimes, when dropping a pellet or a flake to my tank's occupants, the food gets stuck in the very small feeding hole.

Overall, it is an excellent beginner tank, great for students in dorm rooms or as a separate tank for bettas. It looks good next to my larger community tank and seems to please my shrimp and betta. I love this tank.

I purchased one of these tanks a while back for a few minnows babies i raised from my backyard pond. The tank is very sturdy, and the top is too. Also, the light bulb included with the tank lasted me 5 months. My only complaint however is that the feeding hole is really small, only like a centimeter wide, so feeding your fish flake food gets sort of messy. Otherwise, the tank is great!

I bought this and 2 1inch fish as a present to my gf. 2 days later, 1 of my fish died. The employees at petsmart checked my water condition, everything was fine. The most likely reason why my fish died was because it didn't have enough room and was stressed. This tank is garbage; it has so little room for the fish. If you get 1 betta, then it's ok because they don't require much. NEVER buy other tropical fish for this tank. Filter sucks, airpump is noisy, light is awful.

Although the look is attractive, I wouldn't recommend this product. The tall design limits the swimming space. The under gravel filtration is not something I trust and the light went out after only the first day. I bought this product under the recommendation of a staffer when I found out the aquarium I called ahead for and requested they set aside was sold in the one hour it took me to get to the store. I should have gone with my original choice. Now I'll have to pull Neptune out and put him in a bowl while I setup a new aquarium for our beta.

Yes, I'm a thirteen year old kid who payed for half of the tank on the condition that it was in my sister's room and we got male and female guppies, but I have to say the tank has some drawbacks, though it is a beautiful tank.

The good thing is that fish included, we were able to get the price down to below $50, so it is not too expensive. It seems pretty spacious for two gallons, and although we have guppies (2m, 2f) and a big white snail, I don't see how adding 2 or 3 more fish could hurt, though I probably wouldn't recommend it.

It doesn't come with a filter (probably because there isn't room for one), and there isn't a heater so I'm worrying that the tropical guppies will get too cold. The aerator seems like complete overkill for a two gallon tank, and you can only put it in the middle, so there aren't many options for big decorations.

It's good because there is sample water conditioner and food, but the food comes in a little bag that you have to tear open, so it's not going to be hard for it to dry out, and there is enough water conditioner for 30 gallons so DONT POUR IN THE WHOLE BAG!!!

There is a thumb-sized whole at the top to pour in food, and a little slit in the back so the aeration tube can get into the tank. There is also a hole at the top for the light. The light is pretty bright, but not hot enough to heat the water very much. However, the light causes my biggest complaint which is that it causes a million huge 1/4 inch condensation droplets on the top and sides of the tank, though so far, it hasn't drowned any of the electrical stuff.

I just have to say that I have never seen a better looking tank, though the decorations have something to do with that, so I made it a four star.

Don't buy this unless you plan on having up to 2 snails or up to 2 shrimp. Betta fish need a bare minimum of 5 gallons. That's still a little small. They also need heater, filter, hood, etc.

Always do research and cycle the tank. Even if your getting a few snails, you have to do research. For proper care head over to Yahoo answers.

I would not recommend this aquarium. It worked for a couple of months then the tank got dirty, so I dumped out the water and started fresh. the tubing was gunky, the air stone was small and smoothed (so it didn't work). I bought new tubing and a new air stone, and it refuses to work. My brother bought this for me as a present, and now I feel he has wasted his money.

For a first time betta owner, this tank is pretty good. It's small- but not too small- so it fits well on a desk, or a small bedstand. You can fit some small decorations in the tank too, as I have some plastic plants and a mini volcano with bubbles shooting out of it. The air pump that it comes with is great; it's not too much water current for the betta. But the filteration system is the worst. It goes under the gravel, which isn't that bad, but it has to go in the middle of the tank. And then it has a long tube that just sticks up in the middle of the tank. It doesn't look right, nor look stylish. It also takes up a lot of swimming room for your fish. So I don't use the filter; I just clean the tank once every week or so. Also the light fixture has worked for a while now, suprisingly, and the tank doesn't collect much algea. My betta, Mr. Bubbles, loves it and so do I. It has some pretty cool features to it, other than the filtration system, but other than that, I couldn't ask for a better tank!

Pros: easy to install, easy to clean, sturdy
