I too saw mint scent and bought the product. The smell is very bad but my dog loved it! After a few weeks of brushing, my dog's teeth were cleaner. My vet even commented on the change. The paste may smell "meaty" but it works! it did what it clamed to do and saved me $400 in dental cleaning on my dog.

Terrible! Didn't notice it was poultry flavored, saw the mint and that's why I chose it. Tried it anyway, almost threw up from the smell....absolutely horrible

Arm & Hammer Toothpaste for Dogs - Terrible

Arm & Hammer is generally a good product. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they created their new toothpaste. The packaging indicates Minty Fresh which catches your eye but, in small letter's it indicates either beef or poultry flavored. If you like your dogs breath to smell good after their teeth have been brushed, you will not like it if you use this product. The smell of the poultry flavor is absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend this product, and will not buy it again unless it is strictly Minty Fresh with no flavoring.
