This product works, but it smells like peanut butter, which is ok if you like the smell of peanut butter. I have a miniature schnauzer. When he drinks water, his beard gets in the water bowl. The peanut butter odor not only stays in his beard beard, but is joined with all of odors of everything else he happens to drag their beard through. It only takes about 3 or 4 days for his beard to go from smelling like peanut butter to smelling really rank. The product works great and it is tempting to give it 5 stars just for that reason, but I just can't get past the nasty odor in my dog's beard so I am subtracting 2 stars.

I have a 9 year old Dachshund. His breath has always been a problem. I was recommended this product by an employee at the Petsmart I regularly trade at. I started not to buy as it is rather pricy. But, I thought I would try it once to see if it would help the breath problem. I am now on my 4th bottle! It is great! I will say that it is more expensive than any of the "competitors" product, but it works, SO I use it, (about a bottle a month). My dog is rather finicky so I thought he probably wouldn't drink it...NO PROBLEM!!! I hate the price BUT I love the product! IT WORKS!!!

works, but may cause digestion problems?

I brought this a while ago when it was on sale and thought it would be good to add to my dog's dental routine (she hates it when I brush her teeth).

I think it works ok. My pup still drank her water and I could tell a difference in her breath.

BUT--she had loose stools and gas the few days I used it. I didn't change her food or anything else, and when I stopped using it her stools were back to normal.

I can't say for sure whether this caused the problem or not (I should try it again and see what happens), but if your dog has a sensitive stomach, maybe not the best option.

Pros: taste, freshens breath, cleans teeth

My 9 lb Yorkie sleeps with me and his breath was
so bad I had to do something about it.
I purchase this product hoping it would work and that
he would drink the water with it in it. It does have
an odor in the bottle. No problem noted with him

I have a tea cup yorkie who eats all types of disgusting things (such as the kitties poo). The worst part of his bad habit is that it results in nasty rotting corpse smelling breath. He is so cute but you never want him to come near you with his stinky breath. We were in a Petsmart and a salesperson recommended we try this product, I was skeptical because of the price, but within two weeks my dogs breath was smelling like a normal dog and in another two weeks his breath was fresh and clean. We ran out about a month ago and within a week his rank breath has returned so I am online buying more today. MUST TRY THIS IF YOU HAVE STINKY DOG BREATH DOGS!

my dog had nasty plaque on his teeth and had super stinky breath. after using this about after a month his bad breath was gone. But the best thing is its only alittle cap full a day for both of my small dogs :)
