ZYMOX(r) Otic is used in dogs and cats for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the external ear caused by bacterial, viral and yeast infections. Treat once a day for 7 days for acute infection and once a day for 14 days for chronic infection. Do not use in conjunction with other topical ear medications or cleaners.

This stuff is genius. The cleaner you use as you would any cleaner. The med, however, you leave in and just "wipe excess" off the ear flap. Do not clean it out of the canal.

The 1% hydrocortisone med - use only until inflammation goes down (or a week) then switch to Hydrocortisone-Free med.
Which is totally safe for long term use.

I have cockers and wouldn't be without this. I wish PetSmart sold it in store. It works and will save you many vet bills.
