3 cats out of 4 LOVE them!

Out of the 4 cats I have fed these to, 3 of them just adore them. The 4th one is a small cat and I think they're too big for her. My 16 yr old cat's teeth are fantastic. The vet is amazed, saying she wld never know these are the teeth of a 16 yr old cat. They get 1 a day as a bedtime snack.
Pros: cleans teeth, freshens breath

This was given to me by our vet for my cat, who recently had two teeth pulled out. She usually doesn't like large or chunky treats, but as soon as she saw these she sank her teeth right in! Is doing a wonderful job at cleaning her teeth, and she loves the teeth. Will definitely buy more!
Pros: taste, cleans teeth, freshens breath

Our vet recommended these to prevent tartar buildup, but our cat hates them. He won't even try to eat them and prefers Greenies, which apparently, are not recommended as highly by our vet.
We're going to try some other treats and if you can get a sample of these first, I recommend doing that before spending the full cost to try and possibly fail with your pet.
Cons: didn't work

cats either love it or refuse it

I have had two cats who love these and two cats who refuse these. They have a spongy texture with a thin, paper-like film casing around them which confused me at first. I wondered if I was supposed to remove the paper-like casing before feeding them to my cat. But that's part of the product and its effectiveness at cleaning the teeth. I keep these treats stocked for my cat who loves them because that's the only teeth cleaning she gets/allows. I've had her 15 yrs and she has good dental and overall health.

I took one of my cats to the vet for his check up and she gave me 3 of these (1 for each cat). OMG they love these things. I have to separate the cats when I'm giving them their treats or they'll steal them from each other.

My cats sniff and lick at these a little but won't bite them. Strangely, though, several times I've come home to find that they've dragged the entire bag down onto the floor and it's covered with tooth marks. Is that how it's supposed to work?
