I dose my 37 gal. tropical aquarium with this CO2 booster once daily. My plants are positively gorgeous and their colors are fresh and bright. They're also growing like crazy! The fish don't mind it at all and don't seem effected by this product at all.

Really works nicely. My plants are looking great. Just make sure you run an air stone because to much CO2 will kill your fish. Hope this product works out for you.

API CO2 booster is basically a type of liquid carbon. It's only about 60% as effective as pressurized CO2 system but it's a lot cheaper. Besides encouraging plant growth, it will also somewhat inhibit unwanted algae growth, especially black brush algae and hair algae. However, if you have sensitive critters in your tank (such as shrimp, snails, oto cat) make sure you start out on a low dose and then slowly up it gradually.
Also, certain plants will melt with this, such as val and anacharis.
