Use this traffic leash to keep your pet under control when on the go. The shock-absorbing material is for gentle stopping, while the vibrant color is easy to see.

decent leash-but not for a puller

I like this leash because it feels heavy duty and the clip is large and easy to handle. The handle itself is cushioned and easy to grip. However the bungee portion near the clip allows my 8mth boxer puppy to pull and doesnt give me the ability to give a corrective "tug" at his leash. This is a good leash for a grown dog that has already learned walking manners. Not a good leash for training.

This is a GREAT training leash and if you live in a high traffic area, and have a large dog, this leash is a must. It allows you to easily pull your dog much closer to you when you cross the street or stroll through very busy sidewalks without wrapping a leash multiple times around your hands. I also like how I can hold the leash across my body so I have more control while teaching my dog how to walk without pulling on the leash. I usually grasp the top loop of the leash with my right hand while holding the second loop in my left hand. This usually helps me to make sure my large pup is not dragging me down the street. FYI, the loops are very comfy!

Walking Your Dog, Not Him Walking You

I saw this leash in the store. The first time I saw it I thought, "How the heck does this work?" I hadn't bought a leash in LONG time. I was curious about it so I strapped it onto my Australian Shepherd puppy, and walked around the store for a bit. What a difference! There's a handle so that you may walk your dog beside you, and the handle from afar so your dog can walk more freely. It was AMAZING! The feel of it was great. It felt more sturdy, I felt more in control of my pup, and I didn't get all the chafing on my hand from all the pulling thanks to the padding. I admit it feels a bit awkward at first but, then again, most new things do. I highly recommend this leash if you're trying to train your dog to walk beside you or if you want a nice sturdy leash. NOTE: This leash may do better if attached to a harness rather than the collar of the dog itself. The closer handle may bother your dog since it would be closer to his head.

I recently purchased the green leash in the 4'/1" size. I absolutely love it. Having the extra handle closer to the dog is great for control and especially helpful if your dog is chasing something or pulling. It's also great for training the dog to heel because it keeps the dog right by your side. Both handles are cushioned and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this leash to anyone who feels they need better control over their dog while walking; for example, dogs that pull on their leashes, chase things, wander out of the heel position, etc. Wish they'd had this leash for my last dog who chased everything!

I have a Service Dog and it works great with him. He doesn't pull but to have the second handle so close helps to be able to not have to worry about him leaving my side. The length of the 4 foot one is great as it doesn't let him get far away and the padded handles are great to loop the longer one around my wrist and keep the short one in my hand. I feel very at ease using it with my Service Dog. I am buying 2 more so I won't be without one in any vehicle. I also like the clip as it is very strong and secure and isn't loose for fear of it coming un-done. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a Service Dog or any other dog that they like having them heel close to their side.

I love this product. And so does my little Buddy. The 6ft is perfect for running with him in the morning or a slow walk in the afternoon.I have the blue one and it goes well with his camo collar. The padding is nice for pulling(he is a puppy)and a regular leash would leave rope burn.So I'm very satisfied with this product.

Our trainer recommended this leash (in combination with the Gentle Leader) and I cannot recommend it enough! It's strong and comfortable, and the second handle is a life saver when walking. It's perfect for bigger dogs that pull and it has saved us numerous times when walking our dog reactive pittie. Definitely recommend!

My dad bought my dog a new leash (this leash) for an unknown reason. But I'm so glad he did, as my dog used to pull on the leash constantly and now he rarely does! It doesn't hurt him or anything but it gives a pull so I don't have to yank back on the leash every 5 seconds. Perfect.

I was in the store with my chewed up leash that I used to wrap around my wrist in an attempt to get a handle on my Great Dane puppy. I knew I was looking for the shorter leash & the guy at PetSmart pulled this one off the shelf for me, I threw it in my basket & continued shopping. As my basket filled up w/all her goodies, I thought how much is this leash & am I really going to like it, I decided to try it out while in the store. Boy can you feel the difference, the grip was cushiony I didn't have to wrap it around my wrist in order to keep her close, I felt like I had a lot more control of her, this one she will not be chewing!

I went with the 4 ft only because I liked the width on the 4 over the 6. Felt the 6 was too skinny for walking my 65lb lab. Wasn't sure about the 2ft difference. I've been walking her on a 6ft. With the 4ft she was actually easier to handle, except going down the stairs. Have too work on that! She is 2 and has alot of energy.

I will be purchasing another. Went to get another one a few days ago, they were out! But I will definitely get another one so that it doesn't wear down too quickly. I do like the thicker version than the thin one- with a 50 pound energetic boxer I need it!

I purchased this leash because we had forgotten our other one when we were picking up our presa mix from the vet one afternoon. I love the padding, it really helps when you have a large dog pulling the other way. I also really like the loop close to the clasp. It gives the handler more leverage with the dog, and keeps the dog close without having to worry about leash burn or wrapping a leash around your arm.

I like this leash but the handle is much to bulky. I like the fact it's padded but the bulkiness really threw me off. I also don't like the traffic handle being padded. When we walk it flaps around, it's not very well secured.
