I have a cat and a Dog. The cat has a problem with peeing on everything and stays very far away from the dog, but after a weekend of Feliway she was already braver with the dog and was using her litter box much more regularly, and as an addtional bonus her overall demeaner seems much happier. I would definitely recommend this product. I've had the most luck with the plug-ins. The spray made her stay away from whatever it was sprayed on. It is expensive, but there's a $5 coupon on the box and if your cashier is awesome they can use it at the time of purchase.

My vet recommended the use of this product. Within hours of plugging it in, we could tell a difference in their behavior. I'm not saying they totally get along. But the fighting and scratching of the furniture has lessened to a tolerable amount. We keep refills on hand so we never run out.

I have several cats and have done fostering for many years in a small house. When a new cat is added or one leaves it causes stress and/or posturing for the alpha spot. Some cats end up taking it out on another cat, and a couple of my own cats just don't like each other. The Comfort Zone does help but you have to have enough of the plug-ins to cover the entire home. I know when the diffusers are empty because the squabbling starts up.
It didn't seem to work for me when I first tried it a few years ago but now I know that I didn't have enough coverage - I need at least 4 or 5 diffusers, basically 1 in each room. It is expensive but sometimes I can go months in between needing another round of Feliway treatment. I use the spray in between cycles as needed in the room where they are acting up.
Using Feliway also needs to be combined with other methods of behaviour modification such as having enough high cat furniture so they can 'climb a tree' to feel safe, individual play time with you, enough litter boxes and food stations, etc. The book Cat Wrangling Made Easy has great suggestions.

I have three indoor cats, 2 males and a female. Neutered/spayed. My female would smack one of the males all the time, when he was sleeping, etc. He spent most of his time hiding. Anyway, long story short, he finally started smacking her back, now the three of them spar from time to time. Feliway was recommended to me and I only bought it because I had a coupon. The first time I used the spray....did nothing. Second time I used the plug-in. I swear it made all three of my cats behave worse. I used it until it was empty and that was it. Maybe it works for some cats, but it did not soothe my three. Years later, they still don't get along.
Cons: price, didn't work
