My fiance' bought me this setup for my birthday to replace a very scratched up 29 gallon aquarium in my home office that I had had for 17 years. It is wonderful!!!! I am so happy with it. It was on sale too! It is great and the stand and light with it are perfect. I highly recommend this for those who want a bigger tank, but don't want to venture into the 50 gallon range. It is very manageable as well as gorgeous. Love it, love it, love it!!!!

I have this tank with a different stand (stand with silver handles). It is well built, and was very easy setting up! Currently stocked with: A BIG Bumblebee catfish, Golden Killi, Plecostomus, Redtip Shark, 1 Glass barb, 3 Tiger Barbs, 4 Tinfoil Barbs. The big cat stays in driftwood log most of the time and all the rest get along just fine!

I upgraded to this one from a 20 gallon and it was well worth it. I love the way the bow front looks and how it is wider than the normal straight tanks. You can fit bigger decorations in it. The only thing that I didn't care too much for was the light it came with. I bought a color max bulb instead of the daylight one and it looked better but pretty dim. So I got a hidden LED light as well and it looks GREAT.

We bought this kit about a month ago. The whole family loves it. It's great for someone who wants to upgrade from a smaller tank but doesn't have the room for a 55 gal. or larger tank. One caveat - If you want to have the gravel slope down to the front, you really have to pile it high in the back. Otherwise, I guess because of the bowfront, it appears to slope to the back. It's also great to be able to store most of your supplies underneath and out of sight.

I love the shape/size of the tank and the stand looks great. I am going with a planted tank so never used the light. Light inadequate for my purpose but so are almost all lights in a combo.

This ensemble comes with a quality stand and a hood with a nice T8 full spectrum bulb. The stand is nice quality and seems very sturdy. Keep in mind that you will have to buy filtration and a heater if needed as well as any air pumps, substrate and decorations as they are not included. You are getting the tank, hood and stand only. It is still a very good deal for a base setup. I spent around $800 total on this setup not including fish. You can go cheaper but I recommend getting dual Aquaclear 50 filters and at least a 200 watt heater. You will also need 50lbs of gravel.

Love my new 36 gallon bow front, easy to assemble, and very sturdy. The way the glass is bent it magnifies the fish as they swim by. Great tank.

I have upgraded from a ten gallon and cannot wait to put fish in it. The tank is very cool and the bow front allows for a better viewing angle. The hood and light seem decent and the stand looks pretty cool becuase it matches my floor.

I purchased the Bowfront 36Gallon on Nov 17th after upgading from a 10 Gallon. I got the ensemble on sale for $199.99 What a terrific buy! I love the bowfront aquarium. when the fish swim in the front of the tank, the bowfront enlarges the fish making it look a bit bigger, not that the glass imagnifies things, its just an optical illusion because the glass is curved in the front. i love it, and i am sure you will too.
The stand comes in an espresso colour and looks great!
The back is completly open, and the middle of the stand has a magnetic clasp and it closes flush to the front. VERY solid unit for this tank.
