My big guy has had stomach problems since he was only a few weeks old. We've tried food after food, dry, wet, Rx in between. While stopping in to pick up another brand which I was pretty satisfied with, but not enthusiastic about, I was approached by a Nutro rep. I don't really love that kind of thing because I'm usually struggling with a 50lb bag of food and my dog has 0 attention span in the store because of all the smells, other animals, toys (not to mention we were standing right in the middle of the food isle). Still, the sales pitch was promising and the ingredients list was better than what I had been buying. He had no problems transitioning, which was a first, and he's been doing great with it for a year and a half now.

My dog loves this food!

My pit/lab/cur mix loves this food. He's always excited to eat! I had to put my dog on fish oil, because this food didn't provide enough moisture to keep his skin from getting dry this summer. Ever since I did that, I've seen a huge difference in his coat. I wish this food had more (or any) fish oil in it.

I love that he loves this food, and I love the good sources of protein and other ingredients such a veggies and fruits. HOWEVER, I do wish that this food was heavier on protein and lighter on rice.

GREAT food for a sensitive stomach

Our bloodhound has a very sensitive stomach but has never had a problem with this food. In his 5 years we have been through a bunch of different brands and this is definitely the best we've found and worth the price. As one of the other comments says, his stool is also always solid, which we'd had a problem with in the past.

Wish I would have switched my dogs awhile ago. They were previously on Canidae and had inconsistent stool. Since beginning the switch, their stool is consistently solid. Only been a week but am loving this food. I also like the 3 protein sources.

We have used Nutro Ultra for our Chocolate Lab since she was a puppy (buying Large Breed Puppy version). Now she has moved up the Large Breed Adult Version. She has always had a beautiful coat and a healthy weight thanks to this food. thank you Nutro Ultra!
