We're loving this texture and content and the cats (ages 16, 5, and 3) are doing great on it. However, we don't need a plastic "storage" lid on every single can. Waste, and probably more $ for production. Ditto: the cardboard "sleeve" which replaces a can label. Waste, takes up more space, and when removed leaves us with an unlabeled can (which flavor was this again?). Content, though, is excellent.
Everything Simply Nourish makes is of outstanding quality at an affordable price. The canned food is made of real deboned chicken/fish and human-grade ingredients.
The first time I bought it, I was amazed to open the can and see real shredded meat and vegetables. There are no fillers, by-products, or mystery ingredients in this food, which is almost impossible to come by in canned food.
All of my cats eat the turkey formula of the dry Simply Nourish food and get some of the canned as a treat in the evening. They inhale every bit of it.
And since we made the switch, all of the cats have super soft shiny coats and look amazing! A+
I discovered this food a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked pretty good. My cat is big into chicken more than fish so I haven't tried the tuna variety so far. When you open it, it's just about as nice to look at as some sort of human food, you could imagine putting it on crackers or something! As for the cat, she snarfs it. In fact yesterday she kept asking for more and more until she'd eaten the entire can. She then went into fat snake mode (really full and sleepy) and went to bed! If your cat is into chicken, you can't go wrong with this. It also comes with a little lid on each can (which from a packaging perspective seems a bit wasteful) but if your cat doesn't eat an entire can it's useful for keeping it fresh.
