If your dog has food allergies or you just want to be very careful about what ingredients are in your pups food then get this. I opened the bag and a few bits spilled out and you'd have thought my mini schnauzer hadn't eaten for a month! She gobbled it up and wanted more! My vet said that I made a good choice since she's allergic to beef, lamb or any other hooved meat ingredient wouldn't work. He said that over the course of his career he found that is a dog is allergic to beef then they're more than likely gonna have a reaction to lamb or any other hooved meat product. So, get this one, yes, it pricey but my dog is a priceless gift so she's worth every penny. Thanks for reading, hope this helps.

I got a Lhasa Apso she 5 years old she had all the time upset stomach with Natural Choice food I try 4 or 5 kinds of dry food but it was the same story vomitting and upset stomach sometime DIARTHEA so I try the Blue Basic dry food and she love it she not vomiting no more upset stomach and no more DIARTHEA very good product for a dog how vomiting and got upset stomach Try it

Until I started using this dog food, my Yorkie was continually stratching. I treated him for fleas but with no change. I finally realized that he may have food allergies. Since changing his food, he no longer scratches! Love it!

My Dog was eating the regular Blue Buffalo food but she was have very soft bowel movements. I decided to try Basics based on the information on the label. My dog hasn't been sick ever since we starting on Basics.

My silky terriers love it. I had to switch brands a few times before finding the one that my little dogs could tolerate as well as enjoy. This has solved the skin allergies my Boo developed and my fussy Spark will eat. Made in USA.

For five years, my Boston Terrier has been on Science Diet i/d dog food since that was the only food he was able to tolerate without vomitting or having an upset stomach. After choosing the Basics for my new puppy (since once again my vet recommended a Science Diet product and I wasn't thrilled with the ingredients), I really reviewed the ingredients in the Science Diet i/d food and was horrified by what was in it. I slowly weaned my Boston Terrier to this dog food and so far no problems! It's absolutely fantastic to have him on a food I am comfortable with the ingredients and don't have to purchase from the vet! Also my dog seems to really love it! I would defintely recommend this product to anyone who has a dog with food sensitivities.
