recently I purchased this for my dog, she loves it but the body it self is made out of cheap metal and the button sometimes gets caught under the metal. Not to mention the laser isn't consistent, keeps getting cut off/on, while playing with this laser with my dog. I have to switch the batteries in order to get a good laser going for one play. quite annoying, I'm going to find a good quality one that will last me for a while.
Pros: Keeps Pet Entertained
Cons: easily destroyed

I was so excited to get this, as my cat loves lasers. Unfortunately, it lasted 5 minutes before it died. I see that the previous reviewer rated this item with 5 stars... that is why I say that I must have gotten a "lemon".

This toy was well made, and the cats loved it.
Battery life lasted for a long period, and the laser was bright and solid enough for my older male cat, who's eye sight is going, was able to see it.
Every time I would jingle the chain, the cats would come running!
Very recommended for buying, overall good product.
