Don't get it wet

We had our stand for a year and I love how it looks. But do not get it wet. I dry it as soon as I'm done cleaning the tank. But it still bubbles up were I've gotten it wet. It will fall apart at some point in time. Really sad about it. I even got baskets that fit the bottom part perfect :( But over all its still worth the money just not if you want it to last years
Pros: easy to install, easy to clean, sturdy

This is the second stand I have purchased from this company. I love the look, it's very sleek. The biggest issue I have though: Missing parts, wrong sized holes. I just got into putting this one together and the screw holes were too small to screw in, I've tried adjusting the holes, but it just doesn't work. The other stand I purchased was just missing a piece to finish the stand. Also as someone else said, it isn't water proofed at all, my other stand has water damaged in the from from very little water getting on it. The price is great and the look is awesome, but it's just far too much of a hassle to deal with. I may just take it back.. Dissapointed.

The stand looks really nice under my 55 gallon tank. Down side... I had to cut out the back of one of the bookshelves to fit my Fluval 305 canister filter. It looks fine against the wall, but I wish I knew the filter and piping would've been just an inch too tall for the stand before I finished building the stand. Would have been easier to make the adjustment before nailing in the backing.
Solution: During assembly, cut the cardboard backing so that one of the bookcase shelves... see attached photo.

This aquarium stand is very poor quality. I would have given this product all zeros but 1 is the lowest allowed. Fit and finish was substandard. For $150, I would think this product would be better. Once assembled, the unfinished edges and sides are visible. The finished sides scratch easily. The unfinished sides were not even water-proofed. Other aquarium stands which may not look as good are at least covered on all sides with waterproof laminate. This thing looks like a cheap TV stand that was re-labeled by this company for aquarium use. After a day of looking at it and seeing how it water stains easily, I decided to return it. Assembling it, when inserting screws, the wood crumbles around the screw hole edges. Disassembling it to return it to the store, I thought it would almost fall apart. For an aquarium stand that is supposed to support up to a 75 gal tank, I don't think that is realistic. I could have bought the same quality stand at a discount furniture store. I just didn't trust this stand to maintain structural integrity for long, and feared disaster in the making.
Cons: Hard to Install, flimsy, hard to clean

Wow. I was hesitant to buy this stand because of the lack of reviews. We actually wanted another stand (one that had two cabinets on the side and a shelf in the middle) that is also sold at this store. However, it was not in the store so we settled for this. What a great surprise!!! This stand is amazing. I'm so glad we got it. It does take a while to set up (had the hubby do it) and it took about an hour and a half to do. But the set- up is well worth it because it is extremely sturdy and looks like a piece of furniture so it will match great in any room. Please do not hesitate to purchase. We have a 75 gallon tank on this stand and it holds it with ease. We are very pleased. We were able to buy it in the store for the same price online. We have the black stand. No problem with finger prints or smudges as others have mentioned when it comes to black stands and I love all the storage. As a side note there is a hole in the back of the cabinet area for cords.
Pros: sturdy
