This food is awesome! I give it to my Dachshund puppy and he loves it. Several people have commented on his shiny coat. I love the ingredients - this is such a healthy food!
Highly recommend! I only wish the the kibble was even smaller.

Before, my dog used to love blue buffalo and the ingredients were amazing so that's what we fed her. a few months ago she lost interest in BB (not that there's anything wrong with blue buffalo!) so we needed to buy her a different food, when we came across this at Pet Smart... she loved it! she actually finishes her whole bowl now that we switched her food. i hope she doesn't get tired of this food very soon...

Been trying to put my 2 year old medium size dog on adult food - he pretty much refuses everything..... except this Wellness for puppy kibbles. He's not a chewer at all, I guess that's why he likes smaller kibbles - and it must taste good that he'd not stop until the last kibble !

The only dog food i'll ever buy

This dog food is absolutely the best! My yorkie pup has been on it since he was two months old and it is the only food he ever wants to eat.

The small bags are kind of expensive but if you sign up for the wellness emails they'll send you coupons every couple months and if you wait a week the food goes on sale at petsmart. Saves me about 7 dollars every time!

My dog only gets 1/2 cup of food everyday and the small bag lasts us about 32 days which is pretty good compared to some other foods. It is more concentrated so you have to feed your dog much less compared to an inferior product.

I love Wellness dog foods and I hope they come out with an Organic line soon!

I have tried several different hollistic food brands for my picky chihuahua / pug mix puppy. She absolutely loves this dry food. I give it 4 stars only because the kibbles are a lot bigger than other small breed foods. Would be 5 stars if the kibbles were half the size!

My Maltese puppy was on Blue Buffalo when he decided he did not want to eat it anymore. I've always wanted to try Wellness as I have heard only the best about it. Needless to say, this food doesn't disappoint. My baby looooves his food. He will eat every single kibble and lick the bowl for another few minutes to get even the tiniest crumbs out of it. Highly recommended.

My Shih Tzu puppy was on Iams Smart Puppy, but we decided to get this since it was better than Iams.When I first put it down she loved it! Right now she is sort of slowly eating it but thats because shes to busy playing, lol. But she always eats it once shes done playing! Im having to hide the bag from my cat, he just cant stay away from it!

I recently brought a new puppy into my household. Daisy is a purebred short-haired chihuahua. She came from the breeder on Royal Canin puppy food.

After doing quite a bit of research online, I decided to switch Daisy to Blue Buffalo Small Breed puppy food. She was indifferent to the food in general, and avoided the Lifesource bits entirely. After some more research, I decided to exchange that food for Wellness Just for Puppy Small Breed. At first, she seemed to be neutral to the new food. However, over the course of the next few weeks, she started to really love it. Now, she runs to kitchen and patiently sits at feeding time. She devours her bowl in under a minute!

I should mention that Wellness recommends mixing wet and dry food together; the reason for this is that it increases moisture intake. Particularly in small breeds, dogs sometimes don't drink enough water to be adequately hydrated if they are only on dry food. I have been mixing this food with Wellness Just for Puppy canned food and it has worked excellently. Daisy has had no stool issues and I attribute much of this to her food.

If you want the best for your small breed puppy, learn about what makes a quality dog food, and compare labels. Wellness always uses real meat with no by-products, other natural foods, and vitamins and minerals. I highly recommended this food and will be switching my cats to Wellness cat food as well.

I would definitely recommend this product. I switched my Maltese puppy from Royal Canine to wellness and her coat became so much fluffier. Royal Canine is very healthy for your pup too but I think wellness is much better. My puppy loves it.

I just brought home a 9 week old Toy Poodle who seemed on the thin side and was having a hard time eating the puppy food I was given from the breeder. I recently switched my other dogs to Wellness and thought I'd give the small breed puppy food a try....first feeding she cleaned her bowl!!!

Let me just say this: If your puppy is picky, this could be perfect for your little baby.

My 4 month old chihuahua loves this! He's a pretty picky eater and we've tried some other puppy brands as well, even the Wellness Super5Mix Just for Puppy. While he loved the Wellness food, it was much too big for his small little teeth. We are so happy that Wellness has released a puppy mix for small breeds! I have never seen my puppy so excited to see me scooping out food. He sat in front of his bowl with his tail wagging in excitement as I walked towards him. Where it used to take him ages to finish (if he finished at all), he now polishes off his food in less than five minutes! He absolutely loves the taste and the kibble is small enough for his small teeth to chew easily.

Overall, Wellness Super5Mix Small Breed Just for Puppy is probably the best thing to happen to my puppy and me. Eating was like a chore for him before. He is now much more energetic, his coat is shinier and most importantly, he loves his food!

The food is a bit on the pricey side for a four pound bag, but it is definitely worth it to make your little baby healthy and happy.

Pros: high quality, digestible, taste

I got a little 3.5lb underweight pomeranian about a week ago. She was on purina puppy chow, and had problems keeping her weight on, so I wanted to try Wellness. I had heard a lot of good things about it.
She is now 3.8lbs, and as happy as can be. Her coat is softer, her eyes are brighter, and she is keeping the weight on as well as gaining a little.
Also I feed this food to my 7-8 week old pom puppy, he loves it! The pieces are perfect size! Highly recommend! The price is high, but not if you find the coupons, and get a smaller bag.

Pros: high quality, price, digestible, taste
