I was using the Easy Walk harness for my pit bull rescue, but the chest strap always ended up behind is front legs and his armpits were missing fur and irritated. I decided to try this was and the fit was amazing! the straps were designed not to slip, so it stays away from his armpits. I highly recommend this harness!

It worked great for the first few days, but within a week it stretched out so much it didn't work. I would recommend the Easy Walker brand of harness!

I got this for my Labrador. He is 62lbs. and wears a medium. It has reduced his pulling by about 90%, making his walks so much more enjoyable. The design also makes it easier for me to "lead" him, as the pressure of me pulling to the left or right slightly lets him know which way we will be turning when we come to a crosswalk. I guess it offers some control when he gets jumpy because instead of pulling me forward, he gets turned around when he tries to bolt after a dog on our walk. Overall, very happy!

I have five dogs all around 15 pounds. It is important to have control of the pulling on the way into the dog park. I was very dissapointed that this harness would not get small enough to fit any of my dogs. Not even my 16 pound poodle with a very large chest.
Cons: not adjustable

This is a great harness but does not come in a extra small size. We bought the small size but still had to take up additional straps on the harness and tie the extra strap with a tie-back. This would be a perfect harness if we could buy one in Extra-Small.

I am the owner of a 65 lb Pit this product instantly stops the pulling. Now my 9 year grandchildren can actually walk the dog with no problems. We went into Pet Smart to buy dog food the girl saw my difficulties with my dog pulling me through the store and she suggested this product. Thank you Pet Smart!

I have a 43 pound border collie/ blue heeler and her chest is not big enough to hold the strap tight. I have it as tight as it can go but the leash still drags on the ground and she trips over it. Can't go down a size because everything else fits perfect. Going to take it back and see what they can help me find.

Cons: Doesn't Work on Training

I have bought two of these harnesses, one for my boyfriend's lab/chesapeak mix who is almost 90lbs and one for my room mate's Australian/Cattle dog mix who is about 55lbs. The lab was never a huge problem to walk except when she meets other dogs or people. The cattle dog, however, was poorly leash trained and overly distracted. Well, this harness did wonders. I believe the leash attachment at the front of the chest helps to redirect the dog more correctly since it causes the dog to be redirected from the side once you quickly tug on it. The other harnesses with the leash attached from the back does not eliminate pulling and at best causes the dog to pop up on its hind legs. With this harness, however, it keeps the dogs on the ground and very little room to struggle. A quick tug toward your side and the dog isn't able to pull much more.
I would recommend this harness to every dog owner. The lab has been walking on hers for over half a year and there has not been any signs of wear and tear on the straps yet. I just walked the rebellious cattle dog yesterday after an unsuccessful walk a few weeks ago, and this harness worked amazingly.
My only complaint is the leash from its attachment position can sometimes be caught underneath the dog's body instead of remaining in front, but you can still walk the dog. The leash doesn't tangle; it just gets repositioned every so often.
Love it over all!

Our dog's last harness was thinner and snapped, so I figured a thicker one would do the trick for our 27 lb. terrier mix that pulled us all over the place. It worked wonderfully and she never needed to learn to adjust to it and she never fought it. She never once tried to pull when she wore it, and she didn't seem unhappy.
Unfortunately, I had it for about 3 months before we noticed a nylon strap getting weak and it looks like one good tug on it would have snapped it. Maybe I got a bad one, but I don't know. She never chewed on it and we never had it on her when she wasn't on a walk.

As a professional trainer I am always looking for a new, better product. This is it. It is especially useful with young dogs. This design has corrected competitors flaws. It stays in place and encourages good walking habits instead of pulling. I hope they will add a smaller size for the really little guys.

Kona walked with a loose leash until a person or dog appears. She would then leap and twist in celebration. I thought she would damage her neck. This walking harness made an immediate difference - no pulling, leaping, twisting. What a pleasure! My 33 pound lab mix is three times longer than she is high, yet this harness adjusts to fit her very well. This walking harness was a really good purchase!

I bought this for my Black Lab/ Border Collie mix Nitely. We didn't even get the chance to test out the concept of the product before she chewed through it like it was paper that night. The nylon was very thin and I was afraid it would break during training before I found she had chewed through it.

I am loving this harness!! I had the other one that the store sells. But my dog is a lab/pointer mix, so she's built a little weird. This fits better. Still slips some but the padding is great. I hated walking her b4 cuz SHE WALKED ME!! She would pull, constantly choking herself the whole time! Now if she tries to pull she is directed back toward me. IT'S GREAT! Now we walk all the time!!

I've tried several top of the line, no-pull harnesses & head harnesses for my Lab/German Shorthair Pointer mix--Cass. I've employed a variety of training methods. I was able to loose leash train my Lab/German Shepard/Pitbull mix in 5 months. I'm at 8 months of training now with Cass and he just does not want to walk loose leash and he PULLS. We went on a 9 mile hike while camping a month ago and he pulled as hard in the last mile as he did in the first mile. This is the only harness that was able to reduce his ability to pull. No, it doesn't completely eliminate the pulling, but it did reduce it about 60%. I actually was able to take the dogs for a walk and ENJOY it! Now that I have better control, we can get back to training again.
