I've been feeding my 2 1/2 year old boxer Pedigree canned foods for over 2 years now. The vet suggested this brand as being high quality and causing the fewest problems with food allergies. My dog loves all the flavors of Pedigree canned food. The price is right too - I buy it by the case! I would definitely recommend this product.
Pros: high quality, digestible, taste, price

Max sharing his Pedigree meal with Creamy our Cat
I have used pedigree food for Max, my English Golden Retriever for at least 4 years now. Max is almost 5 and can be picky at times. I use the bigger can of pedigree wet dog food, NOT, the 13.2 oz one. I use a cup of pedigree dry food and 1/4 of a can for breakfast and the same for dinner and Max is completely satisfied. So satisfied that he doesn't mind in the least when our 4 male cats and kittens eat of his bowl with him. The cats typically will only get a small serving or one morsel of dry food before Max devours his bowl, but in the end, Max is super happy. Next, Max and the cats will circle Max's water bowl and drink all together. The cats always score a little extra food in the water from what Max leaves behind in his bowl of water that falls out of Max's chomps. He will then run to he door and go run around the yard in circles like he is being chased by something, then he finish his mealtime by coming to the door and waiting patiently for his chew treat. I have tried other name brands as well as the expensive brands and I find that Pedigree is the best for Max and for me, He loves all the flavors so he gets a variety of taste instead of one bland flavor that other brands may have and the price is perfect especially when the Sunday paper has pedigree coupons. That is when I stock up. Its kind of funny because after I gave up on all the pricier brands, I was looking for a good meal for Max but that wasn't very expensive since we have so many mouths to feed and we love to buy them all treats and toys and climbing fixtures, etc... so when I was in pet smart and couldn't decide which to get, I saw a clone of my max on the pedigree bag of dry food. The dog looked just like him and I said to myself, "well if there is a golden retriever on this bag, than how can I not let him try it". I then checked out the price and my decision was made. This has been Max's choice as well as mine (and our 4 feline friends)n for as long as I can remember. Thanks Pedigree. Tanya & Max
