I have an 8-month old Aussie who destroys most toys within a day. We have the racoon. This toy has lasted about 2 months with very regular play. Though I do not leave him unattended with it, he gets lots of tough play time with this toy. It is missing a leg and some tail fluff due to his chewing but with a little mending, it has held up better than most of our toys! Would definitely recommend this one!

Squeaker broke right away, before the dog got it!

So I had ordered this toy (raccoon variety) for my 3 1/2 year old pit-bull mix because it is supposed to stand up to tough chewers. It arrived quickly and I inspected it for damage, checked to make sure both the squeakers worked (there is one in the body and in the tail), and cut the tags off to give it to my dog. As I always do I squeaked it first to get his attention and the squeaker broke (the one in the body)! Now it just makes a rattling noise if you shake it. My dog does however still enjoy the toy, especially the crinkle paper in the tail. So far it seems to be holding up good and the squeaker in the tail is still working.

The toy was very durable, the dogs LOVED it. They lasted longer than any "plush" toy that our dogs have had before. One of our labradoodles is a very intense chewer and he was not able to shred this in minutes like he has any other plush toy. I highly recommend these !!
