I purchased this for my crabs as a cute little habitat decor but also as one of there hiding places. they luv it so much they all squeez into it together. i had the little mini gerbil one it was a no go, none of them even gave so much as a glance. they crawl all over the hut but not on the plastic one. i also purchased he crab shack because i knew they couldnt all squeez in there. success as well! Very durable easy to clean and cute addition to their craibitat. they love it so much that when i pick them up to clean it i try and make sure there isnt any crabs in there but they hang on to the sides with there pinchers! very impressed! will buy another when this one is wear and tare.
