This 20 gallon long tank is used for my 7 hermit crabs today my hermit crabs love to have extra room to be in and climb all over the place!!!!!!
Pros: easy to install, sturdy

I bought two 20 gallon aquariums and one 40 gallon Glass aquarium and both are great. My fish love their extra space. I picked up at store and workers loaded my truck for trio home. The glass aqauriums are easy to keep clean with the extra filters I also bought. You can never have too much filtration for telescope and gold fish

This is a standard glass tank that is perfect for any home. I enjoy having several of these in the aspect that if you choose to own fish, small pocket pets, like hamsters, gerbils, mice etc, and even turtles, amphibians, or terrestrial reptiles it works either way!
The extra long feature of this tank gives your fish, or pets, extra area to allow them to run around and swim in a more natural state as in the wild. The same applies for birds, Yes, birds fly upwards but for how long? Cages for birds that are longer in length are better suited for them because they can exercise in a more natural manner, and this really does apply to fish and other small critters. The height of other tanks, limits your pets ability to explore more naturally. Get this tank and see!
Pros for fish: More horizontal, Back and forth natural swimming / Easily divided into several compartments if necessary. Great for small cichlid pairs that will make territory at each end of the aquarium.
Pros for small critters: Give your gerbils, hamsters, more space to play in a terrestrial state and even give them some climbing because the tank is not so low. I noticed my gerbils love to run back and forth as to climbing. Also for proper introductions of gerbils who can be very aggressive, using an appropriate divider in this 20 Gallon long tank will give each gerbil enough space to be near each other when they want and far away from each other when they want.
Pros for turtles: Plain and simple! Turtles need exercise and swimming up and down isn't going to help them much and they will look rather awkward doing so in a tall rather than long tank. One thing to know and be aware of though, most turtle species will outgrow this tank in the first few years of his/her life.
Other Pros: Whether you initially purchased this for fish, a pet turtle who has outgrown it, a pair of gerbils, this tanks versatility offers the ability to simply just set it back up and add something new if you'd like. There are several Hoods, (Light fixtures), and Screen type tops with locks available for this. I have used this tank(s) for years with no complaints.

Great tank with a great price! Building my second tank I wanted a bigger one than the 8 gallon starter kit I used. So I picked up a 36 gallon kit only to returned it because it was honestly too big and too tall. Looking around I saw this tank in stock that I had my eye on before, knowing that it was going to cost a few more in setup costs I decided to picked it up. At first I was worried about it being to short its length made up for it. The tank seems to be well built just make sure you handle it with care and once you add water never move it unless you totally drain it. In all its a great tank, not too tall and not too small, just right to make it not look like a total fish tank!

We are using this tank for our turtle. It gives him plenty of swimming room with the filter and float also in the tank. If you own a Aquatic Turtle it's a good buy.

ive had a long 20 gallon tank for about 10 years it has served at a fish tank , a mouse habitat and now a fish tank again no problems thus far

i bought this tank for my 36 gallon tank. i wanted to make this as my sump tank. this is an awesome tank unfortunately it was way to long to fit in my 36 gallon stand which is meant for a 46 gallon tank. other than that this is an awesome tank buy it

great cage for 2 gerbils maximum. Sturdy, Light, and Big. the dimensions are 30" in length, 12" in width, and almost 13" in height. I have about 5" of bedding in the tank. Great cage! Definitely recommend!

Purchased this tank as an upgrade as it was larger than the current tank I was using. I preferred this over the typical 20gal as it was long and only around a foot tall. I have a planted tank and really love cory catfish and wanted more room for them on the ground opposed to a taller tank with less floor space, this tank works out great and the cory's are going crazy they love all the room and it shows, they are so active, best fish ever. The tank itself has a ton of room, well constructed, and it was cheap about $40 with tax. I bought a hood and upgrade the lighting to "flora-sun" to help my plants grow. I have a aquaclear 50 and a aquaclear 20 from my old tank both running currently, water is crystal clear highly recommend those filters.
All in all great tank, couldn't be happier, attached a couple pics:

I bought a 10 gal, 20 gal, and 29 gal from pet smart and everyone one of them leaked when i filled them up for a leak test, not very good quality silicone on pet smarts tanks.

This is a great algae eater tank! I have him and 3 comet goldfish in it. It's great! The goldfish produce a lot of waste, so my algae eater can eat if he's hungry! I have not had any problems with it. And the price is great! I highly recommend this tank.

This is a great aquarium for whatever you need to go in it! I first used it for fish then later a young iguana and now my snake. i have another with my mice in it. ive found nothing wrong with it. its the perfect size for a young iguana or corn snake or a few mice.

bought it to upgrade my current ten Gallon tank, was looking for a perfect fit on top of my book shelf and thats all there was to it. looks great and the low style really gives it some good sleak appeal, only thing is that you have to buy the top seperatley which runs you another $45 bucks if thats what your going for. hope this helps

Amazing low profile long reef tank (saltwater). Only add tops 6 small fish, live rock and sand, and some beautiful corals. because of the low profile a compact flourescent light truly makes this thing shine! Glass is superb, clear, not ugly black aquarium sealant another plus.

I have 1 red eared slider turtle in this tank and he loves it. Plenty of room for him to swim around. Great tank for the money. This is my second tank from petsmart for my red ear slider.

I really like this 20 gallon long tank, I have 1 leopard gecko in it and it is very spacious, plenty of room to roam around and because of more space their is more room to add a little bit more decor which is great. Its excellent for small ground dwelling reptiles. It is a pretty heavy duty tank and haven't had any problems with it, you will need to buy a screen lid for it and if for fish an aquarium hood. Overall great product highly recommended.
