I bought this for my Maltese who likes to chase squirrels and run out the gate. Since purchasing the collar he no longer runs out the gate and won't go near it. I will be getting another one for my other small dog. The batteries have lasted for about a month now and still going. Switch them up from collar to remote and still they are working well

I got this collar for my Scottie that is just bipolar and I believe not a good bloodline from the breeder she has been the worst dog I have ever owned,non stop barking,very very timid,screams like u stabbed her if u try to touch her or go near her. I have her outside with my male Scottie who is an absolute dog lovers dream and I love him dearly. But the female barks at the wind and leaves, her shadow, anything that moves like she is a raging animal. I put this collar on her & can hit the button as soon as she starts. I was able to feel the static level myself to adjust to what a level not painful to me..but she still screams like she is being cut in half. None the less her barking is about zero now and if she does bark its a couple yips and nothing more. Complete life saver for my neighbors and my sanity.

It doesn't deter barking enough. She barks 2 or 3 times before anything happens. Works only minimally. I can not recommend this. Get one with a remote and adjustable settings.

I purchased this collar and was happy with the results, as it stopped our Yorkie from excessive barking whenever he wore the collar. However, nowhere on the packaging does it tell you that the battery is expected to last 1 month, and it must be special ordered from the company. If you want to order a year's worth of batteries (12), it is over $100, more than the cost of the collar! This would be bad enough if the customer was notified in advance of the purchase. Letting the customer know only after purchase (and likely after the battery runs dead and it is too late to return the product) seems of very questionable business practices.

I spent $310 buying 3 of these collars in March when I moved into my new house. I wanted to make a good impression on the neighbors by preventing my dogs from making excessive noise while I am away from home. I am now known as the yappy dog lady. These collars are a waste of money. With the 2 prongs and the "safety center," contact is not made rendering these collars ineffective. Having maltese, I even shaved their necks. Still no help. Very disappointed.

I hate this collar. The collar will not stay in one place. The module is supposed to stay under the dog's neck in order to work but moves around way too easily no matter how tight I make the collar. DO NOT buy, its not worth it.

After getting complaints from my landlord, I had to do something about my dog's barking. This collar is small enough for my 6 llb min pin mix and works great. His barking has improved 100%. I am so happy I bought this collar and didn't have to get rid of my yappy dog!!!!

The first day, this collar shocked my dog so severely, it scared me half to death. It literally made my dog jump high in the air and made him yelp like he was being stabbed with a knife. After that, the collar seemed to have no effect what-so-ever. The collar will not stay in one place. The module that is supposed to stay under the dog's neck moves around way too easily no matter how tight I make the collar. The owner's manual has major mistakes in it on page 7 as verified by a phone call to their customer service department. The "Modes of Operation" section on page 7 is totally wrong. They said they are working on the mistakes.
