I have a bengal who is very active, which results in a large appetite. He uses the litter box a lot and we've tried many different litters but never found one that could really battle the smell until we tried the Double Duty litter. It's wonderful! His litter never smells bad and we no longer have to dread our kitty's bathroom breaks. The litter smells a little on the sweet side, which seemed weird at first, but it doesn't seem to bother him. Great stuff!

Love this kitty litter...really great odor control and also clumps well for easy removal...It does cost more than the bargain brands, but it's definitely worth the few extra dollars if you don't empty your litter box everyday or have multiple cats.

This stuff is amazing! I have a particular aversion to cleaning the litter box. The smell of urine makes me gag. The first time I used this, I thought something was wrong with my olafactories because I couldn't smell the urine!

This the best cat litter. I'm low income but I can afford this litter plus it has a great smell even after the cat box needs to be clean I can't smell anything but the fresh litter. I will only buy this litter now!!

I always purchase fresh step but the store was out the other day so my husband brought this home. The smell wasn't bad but could smell it throughout the house. I scoop out the box every other day so when i went to scoop it doesn't even clump. So it starts looking like wet cat liter all over and when you try scooping just mixes all over. In order for it not to be disgusting and your cats getting all over you would have to dump it completley ever couple days. WASTE OF MONEY! worst liter iv'e ever tryed will go find my fresh step multiple cats.....

This is definitely the best litter I have tried. With other litters, the smell was apparent through the whole room, but now it finally smells normal again.

I definitely would recommend this cat litter. It stays smelling fresh for a long time, and the price isn't too bad either!

I have never had any problems with this litter. I have my cat's litter box in my bedroom and I never smell it. It also clumps really well.

This is the only litter that I have found that actually controls odor, and doesn't just cover it with some awful sweet smell. I've tried several of the Arm & Hammer varieties, and can't really tell what the difference is. They all work great.

With two cats I needed a litter that I could trust to keep things smelling fresh! Arm & Hammer Double Duty does that and it clumps tightly making it so much easier to clean up! After trying many others, this is the one I always go back to. I'm happy with it!

I have been using this product for some time and have been very happy with it. However, recent boxes of Double Duty have been filled with very fine dust mixed in with the "sand". I am not impressed. This is the very reason, I changed from my previous litter. You need to ensure that this problem is addressed or you will lose customers.

I've been trying various litters, my cat is diabetic and therefore urinates a lot. Being in an apartment, her litterbox is in a confined space, so Odor Control is a must (which is why I tried this product)
This is the WORST product I have tried so far, for the following reasons:
Does Not Clump: I clean the litterbox once a day, and when cleaning our urine, it is just a sticky, smelly mess. The waste sticks terrible to the scoop, so you also have to clean off the scoop also once you're done. My cat will even have the litter caked to her feet from the sticky mess.
Bad Odor Control: The litter itself has an odd odor to it, and mixed with a cat's excretions, it smells rather unpleasant.
Personally, I would recommend another brand to use as a litter product (I'm now using Fresh-Step). However, if odor is the issue, Arm & Hammer also makes and litterbox-specific powder that to mix in, which has also worked well for me.

We switched from A&H multi-cat to this litter one week because it was on sale. It does not clump AT ALL, and just leaves the urine crumbled in the litter box. It is impossible to get out. Not only that, it leaves a chemical like smell when it is activated that smells even worse than urine and feces on its own. We will be switching back to multi-cat as soon as this runs out.

I've seen the bad reviews, but I don't understand, I love this litter. It clumps great and you can't smell it. It keeps my cats odor to a minimum.

Arm & Hammer Double Duty works very well to cover odor, which is definitely the most important thing about a cat litter. Also, the smell of the litter is pretty good and doesn't rub off on my cat and it doesn't track around the house too bad, it mostly just tracks around the litter box. However, I don't know how anyone can say that there is no dust! It is a very dusty litter! When I pour it I get a dust cloud in my face and when I sift the litter, same thing. This really bothers me, especially because the dustiness seems to stick in my nose and mouth even after I'm done cleaning and have left the room. I also have noticed that my cat has been sneezing lately and although I can't be sure I suspect that when she digs in the litter she stirs up the dust and it bothers her nose and throat. I really don't like the dustiness of this litter and because of that I'm searching for a new brand, but otherwise it is a good litter, especially for odor control.

Clumps wonderfully! Does not stick to my cat's feet. Odour control is fabulous, although, on a raw diet my kitty's poo doesn't really smell.
I watch for it on sale, in-store, and purchase it at that time. We have 2 boxes, quite large, but I don't fully exchange the litter but once every 6-8 weeks. Scooping daily is certainly sufficient.

I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about. This litter smells very pleasant. It also covers the cat smells. I let it go for a week once and all I could smell was the litter, not the urine or feces. The only downside I have found is when using it with the sifting litter bags. It seems to clump alot leaving a big old hunk which does not sift well and uses a lot of litter. But other than that I like it.

This litter provides a basic overall function....it collects urine (somewhat) The smell however is TERRIBLE. The fragrance is almost unbearable. It's a very stinky perfumed smell and leaves the room that the litter box is located in smelling like a cheap truck-stop air freshener spray. Also, does not clump particularly well. When scooping this tends to crumble and make a mess.

I've tried several types of litter and this one, I think, is by far the best! It smells like clean laundry and really does clump the urine & feces separately. It doesn't track too bad either, but I still use a litter mat which helps a lot. I recommend this litter 100%.
