We have 2 female boxers (2 and 6 years old), 2 male pitbull puppies (4 months old) and one male bully pit (3 years old) and all of our dogs LOVE this food. We have to buy several bags at once to keep a good stock pile but definitely a good price for such a large bag.

Good dog food.

My family has 4 large breed dogs (2 german shepherds and 2 black lab mixes). It's difficult to find food that all of the dogs will readily eat, and moreso, our one male german shepherd has had skin problems and allergies that our vet felt were likely food related. Before we switched to ProPlan, our male shepherd was constantly scratching and itchy, his hair on his hind-quarters region was thinning and his skin was dry and flaky seeming. The "higher quality" dog foods frequently disagreed with his stomach and would make him sick, we ended up going through so many brands before we finally found one he liked that didn't irritate his stomach or exacerbate his allergies.

All four of our dogs like the Chicken and Rice Purina ProPlan, and best of all, our male shepherd has stopped itching. His fur has all grown back and is now softer and less coarse, and his skin is no longer flaky and dry. Thank you, Purina, for helping us find a solution for our dogs that works. We couldn't be happier with the product.

Every since my dog's been eating Pro Plan Dog Food his coat and hair is fuller and healthier. This food has everything that keeps your dog looking healthy and happy. I used to feed my dog Dog Chow but, since I gave him Pro Plan he's even a lot more happier and his hair couldn't be more softer. A total most if you want your dog to have food that is natural ingredients rather than corn as most list on the fist ingredient.

I switched to this dog food and within a week my dogs went from nice glossy coats to dull, shedding like crazy, and dry flaky skin which is very bad considering I was originally feeding a less quality food (was still purina but had more 'fillers' ! They love it but it doesn't do much for their coats and I am cleaning up 3 times the amount of hair I was before. Going to be switching to Blue

I adopted a dachshund from a local shelter through PetSmart and the food that they were originally feeding him was Pro Plan. I was thinking about switching brands, but I didn't wanna make his tummy upset, so I went ahead and bought some and was pleasantly surprised with this food. It's softer kibble and he loves it! So I'm keeping him on it because he doesn't have to eat that much of it to be full and he's in great shape! And it's a great price for one of the higher grade foods.

My dog loves it! She is a little basset hound mix...she's mixed with either corgi or beagle. she's got a little mouth but strong teeth. I get her the shredded blend chicken and rice formula. she loves the shredded chicken bits in it. she picks out all those pieces and eats them first. when i first got her she wouldn't really eat the iams food i tried giving to her. i adopted her from another family and they were feeding her kibbles and bits. I went to petsmart in hope someone would be able to help me and give me advice on what food to get her because i was totally clueless! The woman that helped me was super friendly and so incredibly helpful! I highly recommend this food! My roommates dog has always tried eating my dogs food instead of his, i know its just a puppy thing for him but he stopped eating his own food and she had to switch his...so i think he just really liked hers better! The food is awesome and yes a little more pricy than iams, but its worth it!

We get the shredded chicken flavor & my dog loves it. I've also noticed that her solid waste doesn't smell as bad as it did with our previous two dog foods.
