I have a Newfoundland named Cowboy and this summer has been really hard on him. He is so big and fluffy that he gets really bad hot spots from the heat and it causes him to itch a lot and creates open sores. I have tried countless foods for sensitive skin but he didn't eat it. This is the only food that is good for him and he likes. Thank you Iams!!!!!

I have an 11 month old puppy named Padfoot. He is Alaskan Husky/Timberwolf/Pitbull/Greyhound and finally hit 47 pounds (he is extremely thin to due his greyhound build) this month Mar 2011.
Unfortunately, pitbulls and greyhounds have very sensitive stomachs, and those mixed with both are even worse according to all I have read. Everything gives him stomach aches which led to vomiting and the runs. He does well on food that is expensive, of course. But on disability, thats quite costly. The vet suggested trying this Iams product (even though he was only 9 months and not a year like the info suggests). Since he has been on it, he no longer has the runs. He still has occasional stomach issues leaving him a little gassy and only throwing up once (which wasnt even food related). This food has changed his life and has ended his horrible stomach suffering. I have Crohns Diseases so I know how miserable it is to be nauseated and have stomach cramps constantly. He is so much better. My other pitbull/staffie can eat anything, she has a stomach of lead or something...nothing bothers her.
I DEFINITELY suggest this to pitbull or grey hound owners who have them with tummy issues. Be sure to consult your vet to make sure they are healthy and have no under lying condition, as we did. It was strictly a food issue which has since resolved itself.
