Soon after purchase it started to leak. No matter how careful I filled it and placed it... it leaked. The leaking got worse with each use and would be empty by the end of the day.
Pros: easy to clean
Cons: poor quality, leaks

My Sister got one of these for her little finches. As soon as we hooked it to the cage with water in it it just kept slipping out and spilling all over the cage. We put a clip under it to help hold it, but every now and again it still falls and if no ones home they than go without water because it's all on the bottom of the cage. If you love your birds don't use this to hold their water in.
I bought this yesterday, and so far, i like it. Its a little big for the bars of the cage, but it does what it is supposed to. It doesnt leak, and it is durable.
I use these for my parakeets and dwarf hamster. I use two of the glass ones for my dwarf hamster's water so he can't chew through them. They are the perfect size for him and I often catch him taking baths in the spout. I have to use two otherwise my dwarf hamster splashes all the water out when he bathes. My parakeets seeds get stuck and won't dispense so I opted for the lock on crocks instead and they are doing much better with them. My parakeets also push the whole tube sideways when they get bored with them so seeds get stuck that way too. I wish they had a size between these and the parrot ones so the spout would be bigger and they could get to the seeds easier.
I like the idea of this water as it helps to keep the water from getting dirty due to waste, thrown seed, feathers, etc. Only downside is that the pieces that hold it between the bars only fits three sizes. I have a very large Petnation cage, and this particular feeder doesn't fit between the thinner spacing as well. Other than that, this is a great waterer.
