Let me just say this thing is MASSIVE! It's been in my Senegals' cage for months and they still haven't eaten all of it. The peanuts drew them to it and before I knew it they were chewing this all over. I've since moved it all over the place, I kept it inside the cage hanging from the roof, to having it outside the cage for them to climb on and chew. Being as giant as it is (around 5"-6" tall") it is perfect for larger birds.
Smaller breeds might be scared of its size and not approach it. It would also be too big for a parakeet or similar sized beaks to chew, keep that in mind. I'd recommend this for bigger beaked birds only.
