I bought mine 3 years ago. I love it! It's not totally waterproof, but it holds water for hours (plenty of time for my dog to quench his thirst). In the hot summer when we stop for a drink at the park's water fountain, every panting dog runs up to ask for a drink. You can't stick it back in your pocket right after you use it because it doesn't spontaneously dry. I just snap it on the leash handle and start walking again!

Every Saturday I take my dog for a long hike at the local state park. The trail is around a lake, so my dog can conveniently take a drink, but I don't want her getting any parasites, so I bring this. The inside is waterproof, I folds flat and it holds a lot of water. I is pretty sturdy unless you don't unfold it right. I expected it to be really bad, but it is the best thing I have bought for my dog. Thank you outward hound.

going to be flimsy but my gosh, I took my cairn for a walk and stopped to fill this up he took a sip and it spilled everywhere needless to say the outside is not waterproof so it got the inside of my doggy walk tote bag all wet.
