um i had to get two because the first one broke it is very hard to get closed all the way or else your pet will get out but the second one was very durable. he always runs into the wall!

I bought this ball not for an exercise ball, but for a hide-away for my two female dumbo rats. I loved it at first, it was a pretty color and a perfect nest for my rats. But the first time I went to clean it it was extremely difficult to get their urine stains off. The material really holds onto the stains. For it's intended purpose, maybe its decent but anyone who was thinking of buying this as a nest/sleeping spot for rats, I would steer clear!

So, sugar gliders like to jump, up down etc... She looks so silly in this thing, but it's a safe way for her to explore the apartment without crawling into danger! Pretty easy to clean out, & she seems to enjoy it :)

this is a great product. it is very easy to handle. my hammie never once has gotten out. the reason I only did 4 stars is because a crack appered in 2 months.

My dwarf hamster LOVES it but the last time when i put him in there the lid popped open and he was about to run under my couch but i grabbed him and he bit me. If your gonna buy this product i think you should put tape on it just to make sure the lid doesn't pop open.

The ball is great, but the lid fits on awkwardly. It almost seems like the clasps that make the lid fit snug are off set. Otherwise, my hammie Snickers loves it! If he has an accident in it, it is easy to rinse int he sink!

the lid pops off when my hamster runs fast so i usually have to put a peice of tape on the lid to prevent him from escaping or turn the lid very precisely. other thn that ths comes in handy when cleaning the cage or out of cage exercise

I got this for my dwarf hamster Frou-Frou. She loves it. When we first got it she ran around the whole house. We had to chase to put her back in her cage. Anyway loved loved loved it.

One of these exercise balls is a must for any hamster owner. I used this for my Syrian hamster. The ball does tend to scratch pretty easily. Lid locks into place well, however, my hamsters always chewed on the locking mechanism. I usually had to start taping the door closed once they had chewed that part off.

My Syrian Hamster Rhino loved this ball!
He would run for a half hour straight without getting tired. He also would hit people's feet if they were standing in the kitchen when he was out.
This ball made for quite some humerous times when he was running around in it. He would actually chase one of my cats with it (while I was right there, of course!). It was big enough that my cats couldn't swat it around, and the slats were small enough that they couldn't get their claws through. At one point I was cleaning Rhino's cage in the bathroom (the second cage he lived in, that didn't have a travel carrier), and I put him in his ball to run around while I did so. My cat followed me in before I shut the door, and sat down by the bathtub. Rhino proceeded to run over to him and bump into him so hard that the ball rolled backward a few inches. My cat just stared at Rhino with a "what on earth" expression. Rhino actually bumped my cat two more times before the cat jumped up on the bathtub to get out of reach. It was very funny to watch.
If you get this ball, you can count on many fun times for both small pet and humans alike!
I think its only downside is that we had to stop using it on the carpet because Rhino would use the bathroom and it would leak through the cracks.
Great product, would definately recommend.

This product does not work on carpet only hard surfaces like wood or tile my chinese dwarf hamster, Charlotte, couldn't even move a whole inch on the carpeting in my bedroom but on the tile floor, in my bathroom, she could roll a lot more then an inch. I hope this was helpful.

My syrian, Amigo, doesn't really want to be in the ball. I think it has something to do with his feet getting cold. The lid is secure so he can't pop it off. The ball starts to smell after awhile but it's easy to clean. :)
