this is a great stand! it's not 'intuitive' to put together, and i've built a lot of stuff. but it's great, sturdy, and having closed doors is needed with fish (lots of stuff to store).

i wish it was 3" taller is my only complaint..

Excellent budget aquarium stand! Love the color too!

Product design and layout is nice and excellent for the money. But wishes it was a bit easier to install.

Make sure you guys read the instruction word by word to properly install it. Also it might seem a bit confusing but read it a few times and you'll get it

It took me a while to install, but when it was done, it was really happy that its stable and excellent. Really good for $48.

I bought this stand for my ten gallon, and the set up was so easy. It looks great, even though it got scratched in the box (the top, which was covered by the tank.) It is much more sturdy than I thought it would be. This is a very solid stand. And even though I no longer have the ten gallon, I am using it to support my frog tank. And it still fits perfectly! Love this stand!

While I suppose I shouldn't be surprised given the low price, I was still very dissapointed with this stand. Contrary to what many if the other reviews state, this product was very difficult to put together.

Very few of the pieces lined up the way they were supposed to line up. The sides especially did not go together correctly. Both the boards and the holes for the screws seemed to have been mismeasured and it shows in the finished product. But, to top it off, the parts to attach the doors to the front were not included in the box and had to be ordered online.

If all you care about is the price and you don't mind the difficult assembly and the fact that it's not that high quality, then you can do worse than this stand. If you don't mind putting out a little extra money however I would recommend going with something else.

For as cheap as this product was, I wasn't expecting to much. But when I got it home, I was surprised even low expectations were not met. The assembly was beyond difficult as the screws did not line up, holes were not big enough and the whole unit just did not fit together....after a few hours of agony I gave up and took apart the few sections I had actually gotten together. Besides the construction issues, the stand it pretty much what I had expected. If I had gotten it together as easily as the other reviewers, I probably would have liked it. Im returning it tomorrow for a more expensive one...hopefully better quality.

I am quite surprised as to the other reviews on this product. We purchased this and spent over three hours trying to line up the screws to tighten the top shelf of the unit. Unfortunately, we were not able to tighten down the top shelf and broke one of the fittings in the process. We are extremely disappointed with the product and stuck with a broken stand that we can't use.
In addition, within the warnings for this product, it indicates that you must put heavy items on lower shelves or drawers. And in order to stabilize it, you should anchor the unit to a stud or a wall. So be prepared to put holes in your walls if you are going to purchase this item.

Cons: flimsy, Hard to Install

I bought this stand for my 14 gallon fishtank. I was a little worried about the quality because of the price, but I read the reviews and decided to give it a go. I am very happy with the stand. It looks great, was fairly easy to put together, and it seems very sturdy. I am very very pleased with this product and would definately recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable fishtank stand!

When I lived with my parents this was the stand I had. When I moved out and couldn't take my tank with me I got this stand when I set up my new tank. I LOVE it. It is beautiful and very sturdy. I've had a few stands for my first tank, but none lasted or had the looks that this one does. It's never failed me. I highly recommend it.

This Ameriwood aquarium stand looks very modern and pairs well with any fish tank. The assembly instructions were straightforward, and everything comes together pretty easily. My only complaint is that in the end some pegs didn't quite match up with their respective holes and I had to do without them, which wasn't a problem as they were unnecessary in the first place. Overall this stand wound up being very stable, and could definitely hold more than it says.

A Great Stand

I bought this stand for my Betta's five gallon, as the little table it was on for a few days didn't appear very sturdy and I didn't want to take any chances. Also, I always like to buy a larger stand anyway so I have the option to get a bigger tank.

The assembly wasn't THAT difficult to figure out, it just took a very long time! I'd say an hour, hour and a half, which is a very long time considering three people were working on it.
However, the assembly is only a one time thing and then you will have the stand for a long time.

I really like this stand because it has an extremely stylish design. I wanted something pleasing to the eye because it is the first thing that is seen when walking into the room. In the two cubes without a concealing door, I have decorative baskets to hide my supplies.

My only complaints are the fact that within the first few months of using this stand I chipped the back right corner. It is small and not horribly noticeable, but I didn't expect any damage so early on. Another con is the height. It is not good for viewing the tank at eye level. I am 5' 1" and must bend over a bit when looking at the tank. It would be at perfect level viewing from sitting on a couch or chair, but there is no seating around my tank. This isn't a huge deal to me, I visually measured the height at home to see if it would be ok before I bought it anyway. Just something to consider, though.

This is an inexpensive aquarium stand which is made out of particle board. When we assembled the stand, we ended up with some gaps between the boards. I am not sure if there was some issue with the screw holes or if we did not line up all of the boards perfectly. It wil probably work good enough in working as a stand for the aquarium. We will have to be careful, though, that we don't get any water on the stand as it would ruin the particle board.
