I use this on my pump Fluval U2, I have a 10gal. tank this product works great all I have too do is keep the fillerts clean and my tank looks like it has just been changed out. I have been though lots of pumps and I highly recomend the Fluval products. I use at least 10gals. More than I need, and you have settings on this pump too have the water flow fast or slow, and it also keeps the amonia down and keeps fish safe. I hope that this information works for you and, you don't have too keep spending money as I have thought trial and area.
