My two Senegals are wild about these things! I bought them one to try it out and they devoured it in a matter of hours! Fortunately they are super cheap so you can buy a lot and keep them handy. I've since tried all the available flavors and they love all of them. A downside is some messier "chewer" birds (One of my pair is) may just chew this and not really eat it, but that will still help condition the beak so it's not really too much of a con.
The only real con I can think of is the cage mounting, the back has two short wires sticking out to twist around the bars, my stronger birds can easily tear it off the cage side no matter how secure I twist it. Also it will get a lot of colored powder on the cage floor and your own floor as well depending on where it is mounted. A cuttlebone holder would probably remedy this con though.

My birds, love this they love the berry and the other flavour. It does trim their beaks and it gives them calcium at the same time.

My birds really ignore their mineral block and love cuttlebones, so I got this to see if it would make a difference. I do notice that more of my birds are nibbling on both parts of this product. I will stick with this great product and see if my birds get even healthier :-)

It was so smart of somebody to put the mineral block and the cuttlebone together in one. My bird loved to rub his beak on the bone and nibbles at the mineral block.

My two parakeets love their cuttle bone but since they wouldn't touch their mineral block I got this instead. They went nuts over it. The little clip that came with it didn't work to well so I poked a couple hole into the cuttle bone and threaded a cable tie through it instead. The cable tie works great and my budgies don't seem to mind.

I think this is a great idea...to put a cuttle bone and mineral block in one. They come in flavors so my birds love it. If you get it with a cuttle bone holder, you are set.

My bird loved the berry flavor. My vet said my bird was getting all the calcium and nutrients so i guess it is working. But my vet did tell me that every parakeet should have this. Mine likes it is berry but you can get whatever flavor.
