We bought this product for our Bearded Dragon and it works well. It is sturdy and easy to clean. It worked well in our 20 gallon tank. We just upgraded to a 75 gallon so I had to purchase a larger basking log, but we left this one in on the cool side and he still sits on it. Makes a nice decoration too.

I bought this for our new bearded dragon and he LOVES it. Definitely his favorite sleep spot but there is one small problem... There is a little lip inside that is a manufacturing defect. Our beardie crawled under it and I couldn't get him out. The girl at Petsmart saw the problem and recommended that I just fill it with aquarium silicone. Problem solved. Just beware of the size of animal you allow around it. Our beardie was able to crawl out.... I would hate for an animal to get stuck...

My baby python loves this more then her log hide. She will bury into nooks and crannies and feel right at home. Its very natural for the animal and looks great.
It is impossible to get her out if shes in it though, so I can't enjoy her whenever I want, only when shes out.

I bought this almost a year ago for one of my adult Leopard Geckos. This fits perfectly in her 20 gallon tank. There is still room for 2 other hides, water bowl etc. I have it set so she can climb to the top and onto her hammock and she really enjoys doing that. She climbs on, around and in it every evening and also likes to just chill out in the bottom or even middle section. The only issue I have is it doesn't seem to sit perfectly flat, but it works just fine. It's easy to rinse off as needed as well. If my gecko was any bigger I don't think this would work for her, but it is perfect for her size (75 grams).

This product is no good. There is a tiny defect that allows animals to crawl into the top branch. We thought our snake was lost and had to end up cutting off the top end of the branch. This is not a good product for younger snakes or geckos.

I have had 2 Corn snakes. They both LOVED this log and spent the magority of their time in it. I provided a Huge enclosure for each one and provide a water thing (Which took up about 1/4 of the terrium and ran along the back.) I also gave them many branches and climbing tools, i gave them plant life which was taller then them so they could feel right in the wild, and I provided real soil (from the earth, no fertilizer). They were in snake heaven. They could have played with ANY of their hidy holes, brances, tunnels, but no. They always round this log and loved it. They espicialy liked the lower part where they coiled up and slept. When ever I walked in, they were either sleeping there, or sunbathing on the top part.

The only cons are that is rather bulky and a weird shape and really takes up space. The second one isn't so bad: I could never get them out! They loved it and I didn't want to hurt them so Usually, for feeding, I had to entice them out with the smell of mice! (I ALWAYS fed them in a seperate area).

Fluffy (Corn Snake) and Tiny (Fancy Albino Corn Snake) both loved in all-in-all! :)

Pros: stylish, sturdy

I think that this product looks great, I love it in my ball python's terrarium. Charlie (the BP) loves it, too. But it is near impossible to get him out of the thing. Even when he is just sitting there, he is really hard to get out! Maybe for a smaller pet(

I had the hardest time trying to find an appealing (for both me and him) landscape piece but I am thrilled I went with this one. My bearded dragon, whom is 4 months old, absolutely LOVES this thing. I cant emphasize how much he LOVES basking on the very top. His little body fits perfect on the top branch. We recently went through a shedding period and the branches were very helpful. There is a little dip in the top branch as well that we fill with water (very tiny) that my beardie loves slurping up and laying in. I say that this item is PERFECT and a must.

We've got it in our 55 gal tank for our water dragons, and they really like it. Our guys are still juvies, but it's pretty steady. The only issues I've had with it are the fact that crickets can get up inside of it and hide and I've got to occasionally shake it out so they can eat, and I had an issue cleaning it. I tried to scrub it, and some of the paint or whatever came off. I would still recommend it though, just because my guys love it so much. And it does look nice.

I bought this for my leopard gecko, it was the perfect size for his 20 gal home but there is one small spot where the log extends up that my little guy crawled up into and would not come out of. He was still getting use to his enviroment and used that spot to hide. So, we ended up getting our hack saw out and we sawed that tip off the log so I could pull him out. We sanded down where it was broken and he now uses the log but has no tiny one way spots to hide. If you want this log for your small reptile stuff the top branch with paper. He loves the log and it's his favorite spot to sleep.

I accidentally dropped mine and a piece broke off. i thought " oh itll still be fine" then i put it in my geckos cage next day.... HES GONE! So i put his favorite hiding places around my room. We found him later under my dresser. I put him back in leave the room and... HES GONE AGAIN! i later found him crawling out through a small broken piece in the top part of it. This product is fragile and i was lucky it didnt cut my gecko cause it was pretty sharp.

This product looks great in a tropical or marsh-like setup. My snake loves to climb in and on this product. She may sometimes sleep inside of the bogwood and hang from the top. This product is somewhat hard to clean, but it is worth it to see your pet happy.

My boyfriend and I purchased this for our leopard gecko and I was a little hesitant being that our gecko is very picky with everything but we bought it. We switched his old habitat with this one and he immediately took to it. Best purchase by far for our picky little guy. I would definitely recommend.

My son's gecko loves this hiding place, maybe even a little too much. There is a gap leading into the top branch that a juvenile gecko can just barely fit into. We thought the little thing had escaped!

Looks great and is flexible, while retaining its shape. I wrapped it around a large branch formation to give my beardie more grip while she climbs. There are a few spots that the brown coloring has chipped off, though this doesn't affect the function.
