This is Lucy's favorite perch. She likes to be up high and is always sitting on it. Dispite sand being "too rough for birds' feet" she hasn't had any problems. My friend has one for her bird too! :)
It doesn't really keep her nails trimmed though. And yes, it is really easy to attach.

I know what people say, "Don't get anything rough for your bird's feet." Well, I did. My parakeet, Sundai, isn't the most playful little guy, so I wasn't sure if he would use a swing. This is the only sand perch I have, and it's a good thing to have. I have caught Sundai using it a few times. It has various widths, which is good. It is a comfortable height for him, so his head's not squished on the cage. It's also amazingly easy to attach to the cage. I like it, and I think Sundai does, too.
