I recently purchased the topfin 5.5 starter kit from petsmart.com and was very pleased with it, except for the light. The bulb in comes with is incandescent (the 2 pack for 3$ you can buy separately on the sight as well). The problem is that it made my fish tank look very yellow. I spent extra on this light because i thought it would be white and it is and it makes the tank look very nice. Even though it is only 10 watts, it is much much brighter then the 15w incandescent and fits perfectly. I would highly recommend this light. In short, FLORESCENT LIGHTS ARE WHITE, INCANDESCENT LIGHTS ARE YELLOW. This light is florescent.
