As everyone else mentioned this thing releases wayyy to many bubbles at once. I have a 50 gal tank and it is still super powerful. When the lid opens it releases a massive bubble that moves the water all over the place. And the lid opens like every 7 seconds. I used an adapter to the air pump to slow down the frequency of the bubble but it still moves all the water and takes away from the peace of the aquarium. I keep mine turned off most of the time, and my fish love swimming in and out of it... it is for a much larger aquarium.

Good Peice to put in your tank but I have a 40 gallon and it was too much bubbles when the chest opened. we propped it open and it worked better for us. maybe in a much larger tank it would be ok. we even turned the air down as we are running other things but it was just to big for our 40 gallon tank

I have a 20 gallon tank and it is way to powerful for the tank. It really needs to go in a larger tank. It looks nice and my fish like to hide in it, but when its running they hide in a corner. So good if you have a larger tank.

I bought this for a 10-gallon tank and it released too many bubbles at once. The bubbles would build up under the lid and release them in one big blast. It would be perfect for a larger tank, but it was too much for my tank. The build quality is good and it looks nice.
