I recently switched our cats' diets and decided to get a measuring scoop to ensure they eat the right amounts each day. For my household it wasn't a matter of overeating, but rather making sure they were eating a big enough portion of their new food to sustain a healthy lifestyle. My cats are 10 years old with dental problems typical to brachycephalic cats, so changes in their diet can be indicative to serious health concerns.

The best part of this scoop is the interior line measurements for 1 cup and 1/2 cup. According to their food packaging the two of them are to eat approx. 1/2 cup a day, and it is really easy to serve them by measuring out 1/2 cup twice a day and splitting it between their two bowls. Thanks to the precise measurements I can keep track of how much each cat is eating in a day.

I also love how the scoop is dishwasher safe, such a great feature! I picked one of the 2 cup scoops up for my new puppy coming soon, so I'll be sure to test and review that product in the future.

My dad and mom bought this for me to feed the dog and give he water! It's my chore to feed her, give her water, and groom her sometimes. It's very nice, and i still have it!
